Affordable.

  • Summary: Buy a fan controller when you buy this case. The fan controller it comes with does not supply enough power to support the two 140mm fans and the single 120mm fan.
  • Pros: Solid cheap easy to work with computer case. Lots of room for cooling fans. Good cable management
  • Cons: Fan controller does not supply enough power to the fans. Case scratches easily.

Great general computing case

Anonymous, Newegg

  • Summary: I will definitely buy these again. They are just that bit better than my previous go-to case of the Antec 300.
  • Pros: Ingress fan filters. Detachable front leaves the wiring intact in the case (i.e. doesn't leave front attached by the panel wires). This is a huge + for me. Comes with fans, fans also have braided covers on the wires. Panel wiring is pre-routed behind the motherboard. Motherboard standoff positions are clearly indicated. Powder coat inside and out looks and feels good. White and black contrast looks sharp. Base mounted PSU External watercooling compatible Dual 140mm fa...
  • Cons: On the one I got, the hard drive trays were placed in awkwardly, this meant the white trays got their paint rubbed off on the rougher black powder coat. Not worth taking an egg off for but was still a bit of a grumble

  • Summary: as mentioned in the cons, the removable hard drive bays didn't line back up once removed, but it was a simple fix with the drill. case cables are long, and management holes work well. the i/o ports are on the top so they are prone to dust buildup. not really a con for this particular case, but rather all cases designed as such. it is mostly tool-less but a couple thumbscrews are too tight to be removed by hand straight out of the box.
  • Pros: sturdy, clean lines, lots of airflow, stock fans are quite good, room for a 240/280 rad up top
  • Cons: front panel can be annoying to get off the first couple times, especially if you're like me and have sausage fingers. the removable hard drive mounts didn't line up with the tapped holes once removed, so the cage needed the thru holes enlarged

  • Summary: I used this case for just my second build so take that into account. When one of the front usb ports did not work I tried moving the connectors to another header on the motherboard. Didn't work. Sent an email to Fractal Design. Got an immediate response. Did exactly what the Tech said to no avail. Email back the Tech and he said they would have a replacement part in the mail asap. Got the part in a few days and installed. Everything works fine.
  • Pros: The right size for me, front usb2&3, plenty of fans, moderately quiet, plenty of room for a non-gaming home use computer build, the price was right.
  • Cons: delivered from Newegg in the original box with one of the two front USB2 ports not working

A sweet deal, not without its faults

Kevin D., Newegg
2 January 2014
  • Summary: For the money, this is a knockout. Ridiculous build quality and features. Where it falls short is in the fine details, like the hard to seat side covers and seemingly weak threading, leading to (admittedly hurried) cross-threading. Weld in some bolsters to the screw holes and this would be a $250 case for $120.
  • Pros: Wonderful cable routing options, as toolless as possible, great looks, great cooling.
  • Cons: Some threading issues, especially with the standoffs and thumb screws.

Best Mid Tower

  • Summary: I took the 140mm front fan and put it on top of the case, in the interior right next to the other 140mm, I don't see a point in having one in the front, as I think that a front case is only good for putting more dust in your case, heat rises so I rather use the fans as exhaust and nowadays no major component (except for video cards) create so much heat.
  • Pros: 1-Fan Controller: it comes with it and you can control the rotational speed of the fans. 2-3 Fan of good quality are included and noiseless yet powerful enough. 3-No windows nor annoying blue (or any other color) lights. 4-I/O on top, rather than on the side or front. Overall I'm very pleased with this case, I browsed through several other cases, compare them side by side and the features this case has to offer are excellent for the price. I didn't need or require a f...
  • Cons: Fan controller, it died after 1 month of use. Paid $99 for this thing.

Love This Case

Kevin T., Newegg
20 December 2013
  • Pros: Love this case. It's stylyin' in a discreet kind of way. Case feels well made and a value when I got it on sale. The case is relatively quiet and fits everything I need. I love the fact that the flont looks so clean. Love the USB and audio ports in front. Very convenient.
  • Cons: Wished it had a side window like many of the other higher end cases. The front sucks in air and breathes it through the back. After a couple of weeks I had to clean out the front because it was showing a whie round circle in the shape of a casefan. This wasn't too hard to do, just sprayed some duster on it and it was back like new.

It's ok, but not great

Dodi H., Newegg
17 December 2013
  • Summary: I am perfectly happy, but this build was my first, and the wire management in the case is not all that great.
  • Pros: It is ok for what I paid for it. I got it for about $50. It looks ok, however it could be better. See cons for details.
  • Cons: The case is OK, however I recomend to spend the extra 20-50 dollars on a nicer case. Also, there is a lack of places to put the DVD/CD burners. There are only two places to them.
