Quality,Design,Value

Justin S., Newegg

  • Summary: This is my first case by Fractal Design and it was a very positive experience. My previous case was a NZXT Beta. I love Fractal Design's minimalistic style and great build quality.
  • Pros: Simplistic design, great build quality, good value. I was able to get this case on sale for $59.99 and I'm so glad I did!
  • Cons: The case has front, top and bottom dust filters, but the front and top filters have a different type of filter which is harder to clean. The bottom filter is a very fine thin mesh, and is easily removable. I wish the front and top had the same type of filter as the bottom. Magnetic front & top fi...

Happy Happy Happy

Jeffre C., Newegg

  • Summary: I would buy another Fractal Design case again!
  • Pros: I love this case. I actually did not want to send it out to the new owner. The cable routing is very cool in many ways. 3 fans is a plus with a controller. You can remove the HDD docks if needed for a longer video card. Its simple and looks good. I like the idea of being able to clean out the fil...
  • Cons: For a smaller case there is a lot of HDD docks. Its not really a con, but it seems like a waste of materials used to build it and only to sit there. If there was a way to clear out the front filter it would be a good idea. The idea of pulling things apart without breaking any tabs...could be a be...

Great Case

Matthew K., Newegg
7 November 2013
  • Summary: 2nd USB3 port on the front panel would be nice.
  • Pros: Sturdy, well built case with lots of ventalation room. Comes with fan controller with connector for all 3 case fans to 1 molex power. All cabling can be wired through the back panel and hidden, leaving a very nice clean build inside. Top of case panel for USB/power button. Comes with nice little ...

Solid, good value, bigger than expected

Alan C., Newegg
5 November 2013
  • Summary: Got it while it was still $49.99. A steal. I ran all the power cables through the crawlspace (or whatever the technical term is) under the motherboard mounting plane. No more rat's nest of cables hanging over the motherboard and hindering airflow. The PSU goes in the bottom of this case.
  • Pros: Robust steel construction, handsome but subdued exterior with no silly LED light show, unusually well-made interior with no sharp edges, no-tools removable & reversible drive trays, crawlspace for routing power cables.
  • Cons: Included hardware lacks documentation -- all you get is some not-too-distinctive drawings on the little cardboard box the hardware comes in, and unless you're a veteran builder (turns out I'm not), you'll use the wrong screws for some things.

You get what you pay for

Michael L., Newegg
28 October 2013
  • Summary: Built with: * Sapphire 7870 GHz edition * ASUS MAXIMUS VI GENE MicroATX motherboard * G.SKILL 8 Gb Memory * I7-4770 CPU * Samsung 840 Pro SSD * Seagate 2 Tb hard disk * Blu-Ray DVD burner * XFX Core edition
  • Pros: * Very solid construction. * 120 mm fans make my computer quieter than my DVR. * Airflow makes for a cool PC * Lots of places to hide cables for a clean looking build * Room for water cooling
  • Cons: * It is as big as my old ATX computer case (that had rats nest of cabling and heat/noise issues) * My cat liked the noise and heat that my old PC put out, doesn't get that same benefit from the new one

Killer CASE!!!

Edvin D., Newegg
28 October 2013
  • Summary: I paid $59.95 shipped, and for that price you can not find a better case for the money. The fit and finish was great and size is smaller than a Corsair 350D, but a beet utilization than the Corsair.
  • Pros: My system is silent, cool, and packs as much of a punch as my old 800D if not more so. Push pull on my H60 two 120mm intake and one 140 exhaust.
  • Cons: Thumb screws are tight from factory like as if superman added them hahah.
