good case

Eddie D., Newegg
2 March 2014
  • Summary: yeah i would paid 10 bucks more for an easily removable fan grill. but luckily they have other models in same price range with that feature
  • Pros: got on sale very resonable price i think fiddy bucks. harddrive cage are removable and rotatable comes with 2 120m fans and 1 140m top fan, and they are quiet -black finish insdie -very good case overall
  • Cons: poor front fan grill design. it needed a push in clip that unhinges the front grill for easy removal and cleaning instead you have to remove entire front bezel to blow out with air can. and the dust ring is hideous after 1 month. yeah my apartment is dusty but i would clean but is a hassle. simpl...

Maybe a little more than you need for for HTPC

Kevin M., Newegg
20 January 2014
  • Pros: Great ventilation, good areas for cable management, plenty of drive slots
  • Cons: No speaker (was issue with new build & identifying ram issue - had to buy my own speaker). Also had issues also with my power button on the case being pushed down and then getting stuck. Took it apart to try to fix it myself - looks like plastic clip that went soft/isn't stiff enough. Got in touc...

User Review

  • Pros: Nice case - quiet and easy to work with. Great air flow - proof is in the fact I have to clean the screens often and my house is not that dirty!
  • Cons: Power button is not in a good place - IMO. I've had the PC inadvertently shutdown by something either falling on it, barely touching it by hand/finger, or the cat walking across it. Very sensitive to the touch.

Great design and size

  • Summary: I've used a Cooler Master and a Corsair case before moving onto this case. My previous setups were full ATX and decided to built a mATX setup. Not once did the two previous cases had issues with hole threading, but this case did.
  • Pros: - Looks great - 3 case fans included - Great airflow - Built in fan filters - Can fit a dual 120mm radiator - Rear watercooling tube holes - No rattles
  • Cons: - Some mounting/thumbscrew holes poorly threaded. Left some metal shavings on the desk

Spacious

Steven H., Newegg
15 November 2013
  • Pros: Lots of interior room for fans and air flow and the ability to hold a lot of harddrives to run as a server
  • Cons: One of the holes you screw in to keep the side panel on is a little bigger than the rest so no screws properly fit to keep it in place. The other screw hole is fine so the panel doesn't come off just a little annoying

Amazing so far

Stephen H., Newegg

  • Summary: Really an amazing case. Comes with a simple fan control and good synergy with case LED's
  • Pros: Incredibly sleek look, great cooling, amazing cable management, best looking case I've seen
  • Cons: The headphone jack broke the second I plugged something in, and I wasn't able to find a replacement piece. I will update after I contact support.

Mini?

Anthony C., Newegg
20 October 2013
  • Pros: Fans are quiet. Nice airflow throughout with vents on front, top and bottom. Cable management was better than average though not outstanding as I was led to believe. Front fan is right on my HD, nice. Cool design.
  • Cons: There isn't one thing mini about this case. It's a monster. Easily just as big as most ATX mid towers I've seen. I'm not saving any space here.

Why only one USB 3.0?

George O., Newegg
18 October 2013
  • Pros: Inexpensive, great quality
  • Cons: Why only one USB 3.0? Newer motherboards have 19-pin connectors that support two USB 3.0 ports and I'd hate to waste one of the USB ports. That means I'd have to spend around $8 to get a PCI slot adapter to get the two additional USB 3.0 ports.

I like it a lot, but has a few quirks

David C., Newegg
20 August 2013
  • Summary: Lots of good things to say about this case. so far after it being finished for a week, i am very impressed other than the front fan & filter issue. removed 1 egg for that and that alone, otherwise an awesome case :)
  • Pros: Fit a Corsair H55 in top with push/pull fans, (all internal) Cleared my memory by several mm's and still room to spare. Many cable routing grommets on the back-plate as well as plenty of room behind the right panel for cable management. Extra large back-plate cutout Much larger than most "mini" c...
  • Cons: No support for internal (frame mounted) fans, They must clip to the front bezel using plastic clips. i can see this being a problem one day if they should break due to the fact you must remove fans to clean the front filter Cannot remove the front filter easily at all, too many times and the bend...

Fractal Arc Mini

Dennis C., Newegg
17 August 2013
  • Summary: Overall, I am very pleased with this case. It's a great little case. The cons wouldn't be enough for me to not buy another or recommend it to someone else. I am a big fan of not having a huge flashy case, and this fits the bill.
  • Pros: Spacious, and well made. A ton of extra screws included. Three fans pre-installed. 6 drive bays. Looks great. It was actually bigger than what I imagined it would be. Love the fact that it includes 10 extra thumbscrews. I really like the design of this case.
  • Cons: Come on Fractal, they are called thumbscrews, not super tight, you have to remove them with a screwdriver thumbscrews. Wish you could remover the bottom drive cage as I am only running 1 SSD and 1 optical. Reset button is WAY too small.
