Great Case

Nicholas S., Newegg
16 March 2015
  • Pros: Nice, Simple looking case with great dust fighting capability. Plenty of room for cable management even without a modular PSU.
  • Cons: Only one con, but its not even worth deducting an egg. The built in Fan Controller works, but it causes any of your peripherals to not work when switched between voltages. Also if using the controller, be wary of plugging in anything to the top USB ports. I assume its a problem with ground in tha...

I still LOVE this case

Nicholas P., Newegg
17 February 2015
  • Pros: Honestly this case is just beautiful. Features are fantastic, the smoked window looks GREAT, lots of HDD bays and you can just pack the stuff in there.
  • Cons: Be careful, video card length matters... I have to slide the HDD cage in with my XFX 280X DD in order to get things to lock in. It works though... Also, cable management in the back can be a total pain, so route well or you won't be able to close the side.

Excellent case

6 February 2015
  • Pros: Got this case to replace a Lian Li since they don't want to keep up with modern features. The case looks excellent and functions well. -Plenty of room inside -Removable hdd bracket, with metal sleds -Sufficient cable management -Filters seem to do a good job keeping dust out -Tinted window looks ...
  • Cons: There are only a few things I would change that would make this case better: -Steel is fairly heavy compared to an aluminum case -Side panel latching could be better so it doesn't release completely as you are taking it off -Finally I wish they used coarser thread screws and kept them uniform. Th...

Amazing Case!

Vincent R., Newegg
26 January 2015
  • Summary: The fans aren't completely silent, but they can be easily replaced. Some of the thumb screws are machine tightened so they're pretty solid, I had to use a screwdriver to loosen them at first but it's nothing to complain about.
  • Pros: This case is just awesome! At first I was a little surprised at how big it was but it's not much of a problem for me now. I was between this and the Define R5 but I chose this one because of its airflow. - Plenty of room inside for extras like watercooling. - Tinted window to see the inside. - It...
  • Cons: - Very long graphics cards won't fit if you don't take out the removable hard drive bay. - The power button is very easy to press and I had to disable it in Windows to stop accidentally shut downs.

  • Pros: Great looks, very quiet, lots of room to build. Great layout.Fans are great.
  • Cons: The front dust filter is broken. This has also happened to 2 reviewers....that's kinda letting you know something. The hard drive bracket for the bottom hd cage was torqued on there. Couldn't get it off. Stripped screws. It's not my first case and from experience I know that thing was on way to t...

High Quality Case

Carl G., Newegg
22 January 2015
  • Summary: If you want a semi-flashy/semi-professional looking machine that comes together easily and has tons of options, this is the case for you. My build: Case: Fractal Design Arc Midi R2 CPU: Intel Core i7-4790K Motherboard: Asus Maximus VII Hero LGA 1150 GPU: MSI GeForce GTX 970 Gaming 4GB RAM: G.Skill...
  • Pros: - Great look, great airflow. Tinted window but not too tinted, motherboard tray all black. I have 2 140mm green LED fans in the top and 2 in front (with all the drive bays removed, SSD mounted behind the motherboard), Cooler Master Nepton 140XL cooler mounted in the back. Makes the inside light u...
  • Cons: - The side panel doesn't seem to fully lock in flush to the front panel, so there is some light bleed from the LED fans where the side panel connects to the front. Not annoying enough to dock an egg, though it's something that should be fixed in future designs I think. - Not really built for sile...

Fantastic case

James P., Newegg
21 January 2015
  • Summary: I got this case on sale in late 2013 for $85.99 CDN and haven't looked back since. I didn't do a standard gamer build (already have my main rig in a Silverstone TJ04-E). This case was bought for a NAS (FreeNAS) build.
  • Pros: Storage potential (8 x 3.5" drive trays + 2 x 5.25" bays) Cable management Cooling Ease of assembly Build quality Fan controller Plenty of "extras"
  • Cons: Included fans a little noisy

Perfect Choice

Joel E., Newegg
7 January 2015
  • Summary: Upgrading my 1st build from a hand me down old Antec. I absolutely love this case. Plenty of configuration options and space. The fans are a little loud on the highest setting but I find myself only needing the low to med setting.
  • Pros: Everything.
  • Cons: Not a con but it would have been nice to have some sort of bracket behind the MB for the SSD's. If you want to remove them, you have to remove the MB. I ended up putting them in the lower drive cage just for convenience if/when I change out drives.

Blown Away

Georg R., Newegg
4 January 2015
  • Summary: I am blown away by this case, whether it's the simple but stylish design, build quality and most importantly FEATURES. This case really has it all, from included dust filters, three included 140mm fans, removable and adjustable drive cage, thermal and acoustic performance, cable management and so...
