Excellent Features

Zahida N., Newegg

  • Summary: The threaded holes that accept the thumbscrews for the side panels on my case seem to be faulty. It's almost as if they were bored off-angle, making them incredibly difficult to screw into. I hope this is just a QC mishap and not a problem with the entire line.
  • Pros: Removable filters everywhere Windowed Ample drive bays Lots of fan mounts Very modular Small for its features
  • Cons: Still a little big for an mATX case (not a "mini-tower") Thumbscrews are a little tough (see Other Thoughts)

  • Pros: Fans galore, you can add a lot fans in this case. Good design, easy to run wires behind motherboard. The whole top and bottom is a grill for air to flow through.
  • Cons: MB fit is a little tight. No chassis speaker. Big for a mini itx tower. Heavy.

Great case

Jeffrey S., Newegg
14 July 2014
  • Summary: I really love this case, it's quiet and stealthy. Building inside of it was extremely easy and cable management was painless.
  • Pros: Black interior, tinted window, dust filters on all intakes, fan controller and much much more!
  • Cons: Mine had the most minor damage thanks to the shippers dropping it. But I was able to repair it without much hassle. The tint and acrylic window seem very delicate and may be very easy to scratch.

Really like this case

  • Pros: Nice case, sturdy, quality constructions. Breaks down really easily without tools. Love the cable management. Build went very smooth. Lots of room for a mini case. Fans are quiet, on the low setting I don't hear them at all. I am very pleased.
  • Cons: I cannot think of any.

I love this case!! part 2

Martha W., Newegg
17 June 2014
  • Summary: Sorry for the edit, but I needed to make sure I did not post in error.
  • Pros: I posted a previous review and took an egg off due to lack of air flow from the top stock 140mm fan. I made a mistake. I said it did not move much air, I was wrong. The settings in the UEFI allow for granular chassis fan control and mine simply were not throttling high due to the case remaining cool. I have since found that I can move considerable amounts of air through the top filer by throttling the fan. I added an additional fan and man does it blow!
  • Cons: None, none at all!

I love this case!!

Martha W., Newegg

  • Summary: This case has 6 drive mounts plus two back side SSD mounts and for sure 5 fans (6 perhaps), so this would make an "attractive" file server. Matter of fact if i don't get a rack mount, I'll get another one of these just for that. This is just a really really nice case! I've been buying them since 1999 and this is by far my favorite one.
  • Pros: Sturdy. The drive cages are metal (see other thoughts). Nice lines. comes with lots of screws and ties. light weight. i love it.
  • Cons: With all metal trays and dvd cage removed, the case does not feel as solid, but it was still okay. i have since reinstalled the bottom drive tray and mounted my SSDs there and it made it "feel better". The viewing wIndow is a bit small. I don't think these warrant taking an egg. I must take one egg since the top stock 140 does not blow well through the filter if barely at all. I added another fractal 140 and it did not improve it. They need to be pressure optimized fa...

Great case

Jonathan A., Newegg
13 June 2014
  • Pros: Great room for expandability for such a "small" case. Room for 3 radiators if mounted on bottom top and front. The top vent holes are offset because they allow you to instal a push pull thick rad and still not interfere with your Motherboard. Great set up for airflow and can maximize effectiveness of cooling the temps in your rig. comes with 3 fans a 140mm and two 120mm fans.
  • Cons: Besides being labeled as a Mini its not small as some other cases I've seen in Micro ATX but still a nice size case. Can't think of much else so far.

Good, but came with a broken fan

SCOTT G., Newegg
10 June 2014
  • Summary: I would like to have a third working fan, but it is not worth returning the whole case.
  • Pros: Clean design. I wanted a window and good cooling but not the gaudy shapes of some of the other brands. Easy to use design with good cable management.
  • Cons: The top fan came with the blades disconnected. not sure if this is normal or not. The other ones were connected. I put the blades back on, but it does not function properly no matter which fan plug I put it in. The fan moves slightly when I turn it on but does not spin.

Love the case

Ryan W., Newegg
20 April 2014
  • Summary: So here's a little spiel on case sizes these days. I downsized from a nzxt 630. I love that case, pleasure to build in and very attractive. However, I would say there aren't very many reasons to have a case that large. It helps with airflow a little, and is certainly much easier to build in, but aside from that its a pain to move and takes up a lot of space. I learned that uatx and even itx motherboards have the same features and capabilities of their atx counterparts.
  • Pros: Very nice aesthetic. The front looks great and the ventilation is FANtastic. :l The tinted side panel does look sleek however if you're planning to have an illuminated interior be aware that you'll need much more light for it to shine through well. I'm very happy with the size- being a college kid the full tower that I had before was just a pain to tote around. See other thoughts for some opinions on size.
  • Cons: I'm not sure if I read it wrong but I thought there was room for a 280mm rad up top without removing the 5.25 bay cage. In order to fit my NZXT kraken x60 I would have had to do that, but I ended up screwing it in to the incorrect holes to shift it towards the back by about a centimeter. The back fan had to be removed, and it isn't quite as sturdily mounted but I'm happy with the result nonetheless. Some might not have been, though.
