Solid choice

Gabriel H., Newegg
16 December 2011
  • Summary: One reason I chose this case over others is because it only has one LED that can have its style changed, or even turned off. I can't stand all the computer geeks who feel like they have to light up their case like a Christmas tree.
  • Pros: This case is all black, with lots of convenient features for cable management. Has lots of room to work with so you can manage all your parts easily. The design allows for good airflow. Also if you want to drop the cash, you can add more fans easily (I've found that what came with it is more than...
  • Cons: It's big? I don't think of that as a con, but others might. I personally like a big sturdy case protecting all my precious hardware.

  • Summary: If the drive door really bothers you, you can leave it off. It looks to be only window dressing anyway. I discovered that a 80mm fan can be securely placed inside the 3.5" drive bay using the same bumpers that hold the drives. If you don't go kicking the case around, the fans will stay put.
  • Pros: Solid design. Even the plastic parts feel sturdy. Lots of extra features and little niceties (black screws, velcro ties, variable speed front fan, washable fan filters). Good cable management. Good cooling, for the most part. Easy to work in, especially with removable top. Plenty of room for most...
  • Cons: Flimsy internal drive bay door/cover thing. The materials are fine, but the hinges are just tabbed pieces of metal that fit into slots. They are easy to get out of the slots, but surprisingly difficult to get back in. 3.5" drive bay is almost completely enclosed. I am not sure how much air passes...

Good Case

Ryan T., Newegg
31 July 2011
  • Summary: There is a SATA for the top and the front expansion bays I did't get much use of. My MB layout ran out of space. (Vid card overlaps SATA ports). I bought this as a replacement to an old Antec case. Couldn't be much happier.
  • Pros: Lots of access points, lots of places to route cable. Few tols required. My optical drives are mismatched, this case still looks sharp because they can be hidden behind the bay covers.
  • Cons: Fan light has red and blue led, little button for speed and modes, however most of the modes are distracting, flash slowly. Sure it's nit picky, bur that's my only beef.

GREAT CASE, BAD REBATE OPTIONS

Lorenzo D., Newegg
10 June 2011
  • Summary: bad rebate option doesn't lose an egg
  • Pros: Replaced my Thermaltake V3 This is a very rigid build, case, lots of cable management, and enclosed hard drive cage. 3!!! HOT-SWAP BAYS!!! you just cant beat that. Lots of room to work with, the top fan be added with a radiator
  • Cons: I don't have a con on the case. WELL, rebate on the other had I would not count on it. Unless you'd like a gift card from enermax, but i prefer a check from them. For this reason, it is disappointing, since I'm a budget thrifty builder, so I wouldn't buy anything enermax anytime soon.

Very Nice case

Ryan N., Newegg
13 April 2011
  • Summary: - It doesn't take away from the case as of yet, but I am questioning the PSU placement. It is way at the bottom of the case and seems that it may make the PSU run hot. I have been running a Corsair 850 in it for over a week and it actually runs cool. No issue with location or good PSU? I don't know
  • Pros: First Build and I couldn't have picked a better starter case. - Roomy - Has a good cord management - Great price -- I am using this for a Sabertooth and 2600K and I love the way the motherboard sits in this case. -- It also saved me from having to take the motherboard out when I upgraded from the...

Small issue with spacing

Anthony A., Newegg
23 March 2011
  • Summary: The ECA3222 has front USB3.0, this only has 2.0 connectors up front, but no big loss and nothing to lose an egg over. I'm just impatient.
  • Pros: It has everything I needed/wanted in a case because I couldn't wait to find an ECA3222 stateside. * Top mounted SATA dock for 2.5" and 3.5" hard drives/SSDs. * Lots of rubber-grommetted passthroughs to the back of the mobo tray for easy wire hiding and a clean looking build. * Gigantic opening th...
  • Cons: I hit upon a small spacing issue on the rear of the case. The HD 6850 I purchased for my build installed just fine, but I ran into a spot of trouble on the rear of the case where the DVI-out comes through the top expansion slot. There is very little room above the top expansion slot, which makes ...
