I wanted room ...

Urbana Jamie, Amazon
4 March 2015
  • Summary: The Corsair 900D is a mountain of a case – I have been working on my first fully custom water cooling setup and want all the room I can get – the 900D fit that description at the most reasonable price. I have an Intel 4790K CPU with two Nvidia 780ti’s with Koolance GPU blocks. To keep these cool, I’m running the water through 2 NexXxos triple 140 X 45mm, one in the top of the case, one in the basement, etc.

Over all not a bad case. The 900d is a big case

Patrick, Amazon
4 March 2015
  • Summary: Over all not a bad case. The 900d is a big case, with a weight to go with it. Plenty of room for expansion. There are some cons that go with it tho. Cons. 1) plastic hdd trays. ''I mean for the money you pay... seriously''. 2) ''magnetic dust filters'' I've had the case for 2 weeks and they barely stick to the 2 the basement side doors anymore. not really a con I guess but something Cosair might think about...

  • Summary: can do almost all idea you have to to with a computer with this case
  • Pros: made of aluminium, relly big, a lot of space for evry thing. a lot of pre instal fan and place for custom watercooling. very hard.
  • Cons: it's almost hard, but some what, the push/lock pin for the front pannel for usb and for the air filter broke after 4-5 usage of them.

Almost unlimited space for water cooling

Chad M., Newegg
28 January 2015
  • Summary: Excellent Case
  • Pros: -Massive. Plenty of space for disks, cards and water cooling equipment -Excellent Cable routing options -Dual power supply capable for lunatics like me with quad Xfire
  • Cons: 1. Expansion card rear mount is obstructed and impossible to reach with a straight screwdriver. There is a supplied 90 degree Phillips but it is still very hard. 2. No holes in the top of the case for external radiator coolant hoses. This case is large enough to mount a conventional radiator internally so its not a problem to all but the most insane water cooling rigs.

Great Case, Flimsy Parts

James W., Newegg
25 September 2014
  • Summary: I bought this case as my end-all of cases, starting with my X99 build featuring the latest components and a custom liquid-cooling loop. I only knocked off one Egg for the manufacturing defects, it's still a pretty good case and will rock out right alongside my 550D.
  • Pros: When I initially received this case, I said "wow, will that fit under my desk?". Beautiful packaging, would assume that nothing would get scratched/bent/broken during shipping. It's very big, big enough to accommodate an X99 E-ATX board and still have about 5 inches to the drive cages. Plenty of fan & radiator options so this case is awesome for those that plan on using a liquid-cooling setup, and it will fit a standard thickness radiator in push/pull on the top with ...
  • Cons: The Q/C on these cases should be better, I got mine with one of the three HDD bays warped, as a result the cages won't stay in place and lock into place all of the way; in addition I managed to break one of the cage's tiny metal pegs by sliding a HDD over it, the hinge on the door also fell out while it was sitting upside down on top the case, takes 3 seconds to fix, but come on. Bottom bay doors are flimsy with weak magnets, mine were bent and the window side have a ...

User Review

John H., Newegg
21 June 2014
  • Summary: Though I am completely satisfied with this case, it is NOT for your average user, or even your average enthusiast. Don't buy this case if you are looking for bang for buck. Buy this case if you are looking to dump an obscene amount of money into an overcomplicated water cooling setup.
  • Pros: - Biiiiiiiiig. This case is larger than your standard full tower by quite a bit. - Lots of mounting options for radiators. - Light construction makes the case surprisingly light.
  • Cons: - Expensive. - As others have mentioned, this case has relatively poor airflow. You need more than just the 4 fans that come with the case. - The case is so large that it is difficult for all of your cables to reach their intended locations. Consider buying extension cables for your PSU and fans. - Light construction makes some of the parts seem flimsy and won't take a lot of weight. Be careful what you lean on when installing parts. The motherboard tray would flex a ...

Premium and Solid

Christopher D., Newegg
17 June 2014
  • Summary: If you need a big case, just buy it.
  • Pros: There's a lot to like about this case. I'll skip the obvious stuff. The one thing that I find that most cases fail to do is attention to detail. There isn't a spot in this case that isn't matching the paint. Some manufacturers will toss in a couple odd ball screws, others might not even bother to paint the motherboard tray. Another thing I like about this case is that is manufactured perfectly. I had zero issues lining up my radiators and putting in fans without strug...
  • Cons: The cons might turn some people off. The case is huge. When I say huge, I mean if you've only owned mid-towers your entire life, then you have no clue how big it is. Its so large in fact, that it tends to warp its own frame. Its not a huge problem, only when putting the panel back on or taking it off do I notice it. I have to "bend" the case in order to fit it right. Another problem I have with this case is that the case fans that come with it aren't set in tightly an...

nearly perfect

Bruce D., Newegg
15 June 2014
  • Pros: good size, features, design
  • Cons: just a little bit on the flimsy side, all things considered. you have to be pretty careful with the panels on the side near the bottom that fold open.

Monster case with more room/space then you could ever hope to fill.

Shayan Kharaghani, Amazon
7 May 2014
  • Summary: When I first saw my case by the front door, I thought they had delivered a dinosaur. Jokes aside the case is fantastic. I bought this case to replace my 800D. Transferring the ''guts'' from my old case to the new, was so much easier than I hoped. No unnecessary side-paneling would be in the way. I just opened both side panels and it took me about 45 min to move a MB, 1000W PSU, and my Kraken x60.
