Fans don't work after awhile

David L., Newegg
2 February 2015
  • Summary: For the price of this case, I would expect it to be bulletproof. I have bought quite a few cases, and none have had this problem so quickly. The top, and front fans have stopped working, and do not appear to function when plugged into other ports. I've read several comments about this same issue.
  • Pros: -Great looking -Tons of space -Easy to organize the cables -Easily removable front filter -Tons of external data ports
  • Cons: -After a couple months, a few have the fans stopped working -The USB 3.0 requires another USB 3.0 slot to plug into

Now Without Its Flaws

Jonathan B., Newegg
30 January 2015
  • Summary: The front hard drive access slot seems awesome, but I've used it twice in 3 years. External hard drives are so common these days that including such an interface seems a little gimmicky.
  • Pros: Spacious, plenty of ventilation, well-styled, power supply intake and front dust guards are great, easy access to inside of computer, side window makes it easy to admire the clutter free insides of your computer, thanks to the cable hiding space afforded to you on the other side of the case.
  • Cons: Fan controller died after 3 years, small plastic piece that controls fan speed broke off at 2 years. I ended up plugging in the fans to my motherboard and everything works fine. The case uses two long USB 3.0 cables that plug into the back of your motherboard in order to power the front side USB ...

Good unless you need customer support

Franklin Q., Newegg
8 April 2014
  • Summary: Love Corsair's memory and power supply. I've heard how good their customer support is, but my experience begs to differ. Maybe my public posting will stir up a response.
  • Pros: Beautiful looking case
  • Cons: Price fan controller died ( 4 months ago) I/O panel died ( 1month) Customer support has yet to respond to my "ticket" despite it being over a week. Website states response w/i 2 business days

Corsair 650D

Andrew G., Newegg
7 April 2014
  • Summary: Over all it's a good case, I enjoyed building my system with the 650D. Although I don't know if I would pay the same amount for it ($200).
  • Pros: -Great cable management options -Front I/O port cover -Removable drive cages -No tools required, with an exception for HDD or SSD mounting -Plenty of space and easy to work in -External hot swap dock -Looks sleek
  • Cons: -Front I/O port cover can make it awkward to remove headphones from the jacks, or place thumb drives -External hot swap dock cover is difficult to close and will often hang ajar -Front 3.0 USB does not connect directly to the motherboard through a 20 pin. Rather, it connects to the back ports wit...

Mynor O., Newegg
19 March 2014
  • Summary: its got some nice features.
  • Pros: Its a nice case, I think its too expensive for what you get, The front is thin aluminum cover and it seems to be attached by double sided tape. I can see the seem coming apart from the top. Don't get me wrong its got some very nice features but the build quality could be better. It also doesn't s...
  • Cons: It doesn't sit well one of the feet are off the surface. front bezel aluminum is coming off the top, it seems to be held by double sided tape. I would return it but Ive got my system set up and I cant be with out my work computer.

Good Design

Jason K., Newegg
8 December 2013
  • Pros: The case has a good design especially for cable management. It also has a lot of room which is the main reason I went with this case. They really went quality with most of the construction but then cheaped out on other things such as the fans. That is my biggest complaint.
  • Cons: After about a year every fan in the case stopped working. The toggle switch to control the speed no longer does anything. I had to replace the top 200mm fan which just runs at full speed now, no more adjusting the speed, and the front fan no longer runs at all. I have had antec cases in the past ...

One Big Defect...

Patrick T., Newegg
28 October 2013
  • Summary: I bought this less than a month before the 750D came out. I can't say anything but good things about the case, save for one big defect - the side panel vibrates loudly. This is apparently a relatively common issue that other users have complained about, but I didn't notice before buying.
  • Pros: Sturdy, great airflow, beautiful, 280mm radiator top-mount
  • Cons: Side panel vibration

Nice Case w/ Flaws

Brian S., Newegg
7 September 2013
  • Summary: This is easily a 4/5 egg case, great design, great cable management, very nice looking, etc with some flaws. For example, the included 200mm fans are useless to me without PWM control. Yes, the case has a built in fan controller, but I'm not manually going to be changing fan speeds.
  • Pros: -Huge Case, tons of room to work with. -Large stock 200mm fans. -Very well laid out design, great cable management. -Plenty of front USB/Audio ports. -Awesome SATA drive connector on top, for quick formats or data transfers. -Top grill for water cooling setup, pre-cut holes for dual 120mm, dual 1...
  • Cons: -Tons of case room, but top grill isn't big enough for triple radiator setup, could have easily fit. -Should have also included a dual radiator grill in the bottom front of the case. -Included 200mm fans are not PWM. -Can't use 120mm fan in the front of the case without modification. -For a case ...

Overall a nice case

James B., Newegg
26 June 2013
  • Summary: Too bad the hot swap drive trays were so poor or I would be raving about this case.
  • Pros: Easy assembly, large CPU cutouts. Door panels work well. Nice black look. Tons of room overall. Default fans are nice, but aftermarket can do better on airflow and noise. Pairing the case with the H100i was a no brainer and works great,
  • Cons: I had one big issue, the 2.5 and 3.5 hot swap drive bays are made out of very cheap, flimsy plastic. They barely hold the drive. Then when I went to pull the drive out the hot swap handles popped off and flew across the room. Currently I do not need both of the drive cages, so I just used the oth...
