good case

Alan G., Newegg
12 August 2015
  • Pros: good steel construction, I like the power/reset buttons being at the top of the case so they are easy to get to. It has a good airflow to it as well.
  • Cons: it weighs about 25 pounds.

Solid Case with a few small problems

Anonymous, Newegg
3 August 2015
  • Summary: I guess a con for this case is that it doesn't have USB 3.0 ports on the front, but considering this is a 4 year old case I didn't list it there. It's a pretty solid case. Reviewing this case almost 4 years later makes me realize that styles have changed a lot since then.
  • Pros: Solid - The case is super sturdy. The handle is a nice convenience for when/if you carry your computer around to LAN parties and such. The handle itself feel really strong as well. No worries about it breaking or anything. Looks- This case has really nice aesthetics. When the LEDs work, you get a...
  • Cons: Faulty LEDs- This is mentioned in some other reviews I've read. This case came with a few fans with LEDs attached but I've never gotten the front fans LEDs to work and the other ones only work intermittently. Front Punch Outs- The front punch outs aren't too easy to cleanly seperate. Installing a...

Super nice case

JG McClung, Amazon
13 September 2013
  • Summary: This is the case I picked for my new computer system. It's built like military gear and looks like a gas can of WWII. The handles on top are not only cool but you will need them when moving the behemoth around. This case handled all the peripherals that I could throw at it.

Portable Wonder

Ian R., Newegg
7 September 2013
  • Summary: Overall Score - 7.5/10, Smart Choice. Perfect For - First 1k or under gaming rig. Gamer looking for portability. Wish - Want to see the front 2.0 USB ports updated to 3.0 USB and having them no longer be at a weird 45 degree angle which makes breaking the so easy.
  • Pros: (1) Portability - Can be carried around with ease thanks to its reliable handle that requires only one hand to carry. (2) Price - An excellent bargain for its price, would recommend to new PC gamers looking for a rig under 1K. (3) Cool - Is something that is esthetically pleasing in a room. Also ...
  • Cons: (1) Quality - The screws tear apart the threads which help hold the mother board in, the process of installing a fourth motherboard was a nightmare because the screws didn't go in or didn't come out. The plastic claps holding in panels on the back broke easily. The 2.0 USB ports in the front will...

I wish I had known more about this case before purchase

Ryan Grobe, Amazon
4 September 2013
  • Summary: When I bought this case I thought it was going to be amazing because it had red LED fans to match the color scheme of my motherboard layout and it had all of the expansion I needed. Unfortunately 2 of the 3 fans are not compatible with my motherboard or power supply unit.

Great case, Needs more cable management

Bradyn, Amazon
27 July 2013
  • Summary: The case works well, and cooling is fantastic. But I just with there was a little more cable management. I mean. its a 60.00$ case, so, not expecting much, but seriously. only one hole! The back plate does have an opening so you can change heat sinks easily and the front interface is great.

Great Case for the Money.

Joshua H., Newegg
5 June 2013
  • Summary: All in all, the case is definitely worth the money I paid for it. I will be using this case for quite some time and am excited to continue upgrading my machine with this case as the base component for years to come.
  • Pros: Picked this up on a sale that put the price down to $55 after rebate and shipping. I've been eyeing this case for a long time, and have really been excited to replace my mini-tower with something a bit larger to accommodate any motherboard upgrades I do in the future. First off, the case is very ...
  • Cons: So there are a few cons bringing this down from 5 eggs. The first being installing the HD's. I am quite used to installing HD's so the connectors face out, but as both side panels come off, you can install them both ways. Let me tell you why this is bad. Instead of making it so you can install th...

Great case overall

michael s., Newegg
5 May 2013
  • Summary: Not really a fan of bottom mounted PSUs now after trying this, but you never really know unil you try! Would probably be better if my PSU was modular.
  • Pros: Plenty of room. 4 usb 2.0 and esata on the front panel. Looks good, not heavy and the carrying handle is plenty sturdy. HDD mounting is the best of any case I have ever used. My GTX 570 fit nicely inside. Came with more than enough screws, and the mounting guide paper insert was helpful. Nice ove...
  • Cons: The plastic clips for the PCI slots aren't the best. I had to use a screw to hold my soundcard in place or it would be pushed in whenever I plugged my headphones or audio cables in. The LEDs on the fans do not work, and I was looking forward to them because the red would match the red LED on my s...

User Review

Larry R., Newegg
24 April 2013
  • Summary: I bought this case to build my custom computer and I had got the EVGA Nvidia Geforce GTX 680 FTW+ only to find out that the card was too big for this case. I had to cut off some of the excess plastic on the card in order to get it to fit. This is my major complaint for this case.
  • Pros: Durable Feel Mostly Metal Easy Drive Installation
  • Cons: Smaller than expected Cabling is slightly crammed Fan Cables too short

Great case. For real.

Gabriel M., Newegg
17 April 2013
  • Pros: For the amount of money you pay for, it is everything a pc geek can get. it's got the stylish look and a handy grip you can pick it up with. oh, and lets not forget the fans.
  • Cons: Width size could be bigger, i feel like an aftermarket heatsink won't fit. or a large GPU.
