Bought in 2009 still good

David P., Newegg
13 December 2015
  • Summary: Old and still going strong. Happy I bought it. Cool lights that still work today. I would buy CM cases again!
  • Pros: Sharp looking case. Came with a nice bag of options to connect stuff.
  • Cons: None I can think of. It's big but that is what I wanted.

  • Pros: good steel construction, I like the power/reset buttons being at the top of the case so they are easy to get to. It has a good airflow to it as well.
  • Cons: it weighs about 25 pounds.

Solid Case with a few small problems

Anonymous, Newegg
3 August 2015
  • Summary: I guess a con for this case is that it doesn't have USB 3.0 ports on the front, but considering this is a 4 year old case I didn't list it there. It's a pretty solid case. Reviewing this case almost 4 years later makes me realize that styles have changed a lot since then.
  • Pros: Solid - The case is super sturdy. The handle is a nice convenience for when/if you carry your computer around to LAN parties and such. The handle itself feel really strong as well. No worries about it breaking or anything. Looks- This case has really nice aesthetics. When the LEDs work, you get a...
  • Cons: Faulty LEDs- This is mentioned in some other reviews I've read. This case came with a few fans with LEDs attached but I've never gotten the front fans LEDs to work and the other ones only work intermittently. Front Punch Outs- The front punch outs aren't too easy to cleanly seperate. Installing a...

Great Case!

Mindy B., Newegg
19 February 2015
  • Summary: Have owned this case for two years now, and I still love it! I have always like Cooler Master's products, and will buy in the future!
  • Pros: Great Looks, Functionality, Cool Temperatures, Fast Shipping, Carrying Handle, LED Control
  • Cons: A little tight for full size video cards, but I managed to fit a Gigabyte Radeon HD 6950 (11.5 inches long!) inside with a little maneuvering, the Scout II fixed this issue with removable HDD trays.

Not that great

MICHAEL D., Newegg
20 April 2014
  • Pros: It looks pretty, has nice handlebars
  • Cons: It's a dated computer case and you are better off getting a newer model that has more features. It's also kinda cramped inside.

Shocking

Christopher D., Newegg
11 April 2014
  • Summary: If I see Cooler Master I think about the experience and find another comparable, unless it is SO cheap I could bear just throwing it away if it didn't work.
  • Pros: Looks good. Liked the handle and the ease of mounting the components.
  • Cons: Customer support. After the computer would run for a period of time, if you touched the case, it would shock you and the computer would do a hard reboot. After troubleshooting the problem it was determined the control panel had a short in it. I Called customer support several times. One time they...

Everything you want

Dan R., Newegg
11 March 2014
  • Summary: I highly recommend this case, especially if you are going to be moving your system from place to place.
  • Pros: Exactly what you need in a case. Cool, quiet, and attractive. Four USB ports in the front. Lots of room to work with inside. A sturdy handle for easy mobility. It looks really cool.
  • Cons: No Cons. There is an air intake on the top, so be careful with your drink!
