Summary: To start I would like to say that this is a really well built case. Every part serves a function and there really isn't any wasted material. The EVO has a very open design yet all the space can be utilized. Outside: Easy to remove side, top and front panels for quick access. The side panels have handles for carrying. The removable mobo tray is a helpful feature. The side panels don't have anywhere to mount fans but are open for airflow. The top has room for a 200mm fan.
Pros: Room for extra long video cards., Hard Drive, disc drive bays and PSU are below the motherboard tray., Plenty of room to add fans or liquid cooling.
Cons: Needs space on all sides for proper airflow. This is not a con as much as a heads up.
Summary: Bought this as I was moving the computer next to the TV and my other case was too tall. Easiest build I have ever had -- from the removable motherboard tray, the x-dock for your hard drives, to the TONS of room under the mb for excess cables. It just proves how well thought out, quality hardware can lessen the headaches. Do yourself a favor and work from the bottom up and plan your cable routing before you put the motherboard back in. Enjoy.
Pros: Rugged and well built, Excellent as a LAN box, test bench, or regular case, Easy to hide excess cables
Cons: Not enough fans, The x-dock power connector seems a little flimsy
Summary: Bought this because my son needed a more portable case to lug to university. This a great case easy to build, lots of room. Their is room for almost anything you want to add. Very well thought out lots of room for cable management. Added the 200mm and a 120mm fan to complement the fans included. Would purchase again if the need comes up in a second.
Summary: I have a ridiculous build that I have no need of. This case was bought for a Spec build that didn't sell so it became my case. This is the easiest case to work with that I have ever had. Take the tray out and access to the bottom half of the case is wide open. Even with the tray in, both side panels come off to get to the lower half. Mounting the board, cpu and cooler and the ram out of the case and then set the tray back in.
Summary: I purchased the Cooler Master Evo for my new build. I was looking for a case that was small and had a lot of room inside for custom watercooling. I was impressed by the Evo's features, removable HD bays, removable 5.25" bays compared to the original Haf XB case. I was going to purchase the original Haf XB anyways if they didn't release the EVO. This is a great case for someone who is always upgrading like me, to swap in and hardware quick and easily.
Pros: You can use it as a Lan Box, or as a test bench. Its like 2 cases in one.
Summary: Confined and neat can be only the best two words for this. You may think that this is a waste of money, but for the casual LAN player or the frequent mover, nothing beats handles and a solid steal case. I got over a few thousand dollars running through this things and There is Room to spare. I have owned from the NZXT series of cases to the monster dual top 200mm cases, nothing has airflow like this thing.
