"Hard drive killer"
Ryan B., Newegg
14 December 2015
Summary: It was a really great case. I bought it to move my computer from the floor to my desk because my small kitten was biting the wires and I wasn't gonna have that. This case saved the wires, but in the end, did not save my hard drives.
Pros: Nice and compact
Cons: The hot swap just killed two of my hard drives. Thought the first drive 3TB drive was just a bad hard drive. I bought a new 3TB hdd and that died within 7 hours of owning it. I did some googling and found a few websites that also had similar issues with CM claiming it was the hotswap but they fai...
Summary: I still love the case. But if this is an example of CM tech support, then buying anything from CM is pretty risky because they will not let you get in contact with them.
Cons: Cannot connect to Tech Support. I have to revise my rating. As I mentioned in my initial review. I love this case, and gave it 5 stars. But a defect appeared. Windows shuts off but the power to the case won't. So I have to kill the power so the computer shuts off. I called CM Tech Support, "no on...
Summary: Overall, I'm very disappointed and frustrated with what should have been a good purchase from a reputable company, Cooler Master. I've seen companies reply to reviewers saying contact us and we'll resolve your issue, but I'd like to see these issues come to full resolution.
Pros: Good design: Really enjoyed the idea of the case that is not a tower and had plenty of space for most components as well as good air flow.
Cons: Unfortunately the company shipped the case without a kit of important parts and accessories (screws, mounts, etc...). I improvised for the most part but their hard drive cage requires adapters to use 3.5 or 2.5 components which were not included, rendering it useless. I figured, easy fix. I'll ca...
Cons: The manufacturer response to my febuary post shows they still didn't even bother to read my review. I posted stating I did not know the name of the part I needed replaced, TWICE! I even put that clearly in the comments section of my RMA submission, with pictures of the USB ports failing to power ...
Cons: USB ports dead, contacted CM RMA to see it is a complete nightmare. Signed up through two sites, submitted a detailed RMA. There was not a USB board selection so I specified it in detail in the comments section and provided pictures of one of the ports not powering properly.. they sent me a front...
