**HAF 912 model review** Nice looking case but...

Benjamin L., Newegg
  • Summary: Case arrived with back panel caved in near I/O shield hole. No damage to box or foam inserts makes me believe this was damaged in the factory. This made snapping the I/O shield into the panel difficult and not fit properly, even after bending the panel back into some sort of straightness.
  • Pros: Looks great Plenty of space and mounting options for drives, fans, radiator etc. MOSTLY Tool free design
  • Cons: Construction of the chassis is somewhat flimsier than I would have expected. Back panel VERY flimsy...see below in other thoughts. Front power LED annoyingly bright red, unplugged within 5 minutes of installation. Front filter not removable, must remove entire front panel of case, which involves ...

Awesome Case! But my side panel fan is DOA!!!

Jeffrey Z., Newegg

  • Summary: I need to find out where I can try and get a replacement fan!
  • Pros: Spacious Sturdy Looks Cool
  • Cons: Top screw holes didn't line up with my Corsair H110i The fan on my side panel wont work! This is a bummer obviously for airflow but I wanted the red glow as well. If I can get the issue remedied, I'll fix the eggs!

Great design, arrived in terrible shape

Corey M., Newegg
11 September 2015
  • Summary: I hope this works out in the end.
  • Pros: Love the overall design. My original 932 HAF from 2011 is still going strong. It has great airflow that runs quiet. There is lots of room up top for a watercooler. I wish I had more to say on the positive side, but it works great and newegg's pictures/description are accurate for what you get.
  • Cons: This case arrived in terrible shape with no evidence of shipping abuse. The shipping container was fine. However it arrived in the following condition: 1) Window cracked 2) Upper 240mm fan had fallen apart and was bouncing around inside 3) Front USB 3.0 panel is scratched and the ports angle to o...

Great case , bad shipping

Hank B., Newegg
24 July 2015
  • Summary: case still very functional and will not send back , kind of expected some damage .
  • Pros: Coolermaster makes great cases, have an aluminum one that is over 10 years old and has been redone 3 times and looks great. that case is no longer available so got the HAF 932, looks great , lots of room, and looks great, fans that come with it are HUGE and work great now the cons (case gets 5 eggs)
  • Cons: Shipping damaged the back corner, crushed the metal, front was slightly bowed when viewed from the side, side panels were a bear to remove. used mallet and hammer to bend the one corner. loaded MB. power, HDD, video etc easily, went together great....with difficulty and swearing got the panels ba...

Damaged Tower

Austin S., Newegg
8 June 2015
  • Summary: make sure you notice it doesn't have a 2nd red LED light. previous 932's came with 2 led's, this one only has 1.
  • Pros: Runs temps very cold, had a previous Cooler Master 932, no problems with it at all.
  • Cons: Bottom back left corner of case bent in when opened up the box. Box was undamaged. The finger screw to open the side of the case must have been hit as that back corner was damaged. Used a pair of pliers and pulled it most of the way out. Didn't want to deal with return policy, restocking fees, sh...

Alright

Steven A., Newegg
3 January 2015
  • Summary: Would I buy this gain the way it is? No. I would have went for a more modern case with bigger cut outs for CPU Cooler brackets for sure, and more back panel space. Cooler Master needs to add rubber grommets in its slots where you run cables through and also make the USB 3.0 panel match the other...
  • Pros: -Fits SLI GTX 780's with lots of room to spare -Moves alot of air (I installed the rear case fan pulling air from the front from the 3.5 bay, I got water cooling) Red and black matched my old theme as I upgraded from a CM Storm Scout (had to dremmel out drive cage to fit SLI 780's) -Tooless insta...
  • Cons: -Motherboard cut out isn't big enough, I had to pull my motherboard out and put electrical tape on the liquid cooling bracket because first boot was stuck in an endless start / restart -A marking ( I think the D one) Is incorrectly marked for ATX motherboards and is therefor, in the wrong spot (i...

It's a tank!

Dillon S., Newegg
21 December 2014
  • Summary: I recently decided to upgrade my mid-sized tower case to this for better airflow and cable management. I got what I wanted, but at a price. This case is 22 lbs! It's unbelievably huge!
  • Pros: Super roomy, huge fans, easy drive installation.
  • Cons: Super heavy, not the best cable management as I had hoped, somewhat too big for a full ATX motherboard. DID NOT receive REBATE as I was promised :(

2 year case review

Gary C., Newegg
3 May 2014
  • Pros: Good ventilation; however that means you better have a clean surrounding or all that dust is inside.
  • Cons: ports and of the 2 ports, one has shorted. The other lack of ports is my fault for not buy a M/B with more in the back. With one port tied up for wireless keyboard and mouse and the other uses for wireless network, using my work thumbdrive is impossible. I will be shopping for a new case with thi...

Big but lacking

Vincent S., Newegg
24 April 2014
  • Summary: If this case is on sell or the price is lower than other full-ATX solutions, buy it.
  • Pros: Plenty of space for upgrades. Power button is large and easy to press. The case allows much airflow to go through the system. LED lights are bright and place in good spots to illuminate the system.
  • Cons: Poor workmanship: I had a jagged piece of metal sticking out from the side panel. The repair required me to hammer this metal back into its proper place. The case is highly upgradable for fans. With that being said there are many mounts for additional fans to be placed in the system. I usually do...

Incredible case, but where are the filters.

Dylan, Amazon
30 March 2014
  • Summary: A case wIth very high airflow, however, no dust filters. Make sure you buy after market dust filters or this thing will become a vaccume.
