This a great case! Sometimes...

Anonymous, Newegg
11 January 2016
  • Summary: recommend this product to anyone willing to cope with the cons.
  • Pros: Very great air flow. Usb 3.0. A LOT of room for GPUs.
  • Cons: I would much rather have screws than levers to hold the gpu in.The power button is put in an odd place. POWER BUTTON IS CHEAPLY MADE AND I CANT TURN MR COMPUTER. HORRIBLE USB 2.0 PORTS.

Huge case, great airflow but poor design.

Richard C., Newegg
31 December 2015
  • Summary: If I had another choice, I would not go with this case. Phenomenal heat sinks, fans, and even power supplies but the case was just a mess and will continue to haunt me for years to come.
  • Pros: The fact that it came with 4 fans was awesome, I only changed one for the fact of better cpu cooling. Plenty of trays for hard-drives and what not. USB 3.0 included was cool. Looks clean and crisp.
  • Cons: The biggest problem i have is that even the ATX set-up and standoff holes arent even aligned perfectly with my ATX board (MSI Z97). Also, because the CPU isnt aligned properly, I cant put on a backplate for a heatsink i bought (just so happened to be a hyper evo 212, also cooler master.) You'd th...

Front panel might have burned my mobo

Daniel P., Newegg
8 August 2015
  • Pros: I bought the case because 1) it was featured and on sale and 2) because I wanted the room for all my HD's. I enjoyed the case, though very bulky and heavy.
  • Cons: I built my machine back in 11/21/2013, and after almost 2 years, the front panel seems to have fried, and possibly ruined my motherboard. I've had no issues until one night, I walked away from my computer, came back and everything looked off, yet my smart power strip kept everything "on". After m...

Get something smaller

Spencer I., Newegg
20 March 2015
  • Pros: Its a nice big case which is easy to work in and has more than enough room for everything you want to put in it.
  • Cons: Its way too big. I originally bought one of these when I was building a new pc because I previously had issues with overheating. It is great for keeping a cool computer, but at this point its just so out of place / oversized that I'm replacing this with a smaller more streamlined R5. Also, i alwa...

Poor Quality

JOSEPH M., Newegg
2 November 2014
  • Summary: Was looking forward to new build but initial disappointment when case first opened! How much trouble would it be to make sure all the thumb screws are in place? I will RMA entire case if I find more defects.
  • Pros: Sturdy, no dents, no scratches, name recognition, had mail in rebate. Haven't gotten it yet.
  • Cons: Bottom right thumb screw fro side panel missing and no threads in hole. Thumb screw from opposite side will now screw into the hole. Apparently hole was not threaded. I guess if I want a screw to fit I will have the thread the hole myself. Too much trouble to return the case. Model number on ship...

Where's the quality control

John S., Newegg
10 April 2014
  • Summary: Other issues that bug me are that the owner's manual is vague and hard to understand. I would like more detail when understanding how to setup the case correctly. Also a company like Cooler Master could at least put all the different screws and fasteners in separate little bags so I don't have to...
  • Pros: Great case design with plenty of air flow.can handle any power supply. enough room for all of your hardware.
  • Cons: Case was damaged at the factory. The right rear thumb screw has a dimple in it when they drilled the hole for that screw. Screw goes in crooked now. Should not affect the functionality of the case. But it still angers me that I paid retail for a damaged product. Not worth while to get an RMA. Bec...

Cooler Master

Nick A., Newegg
16 January 2014
  • Summary: I would say avoid this case. I really wish I hadn't bought it for many reasons. The space behind the motherboard just isn't big enough causing the back panel to be a real pain to get on correctly. There's no air filters which means it gets filled with dust, fast!
  • Pros: Lots of Room Fits a lot of HDDs or SSDs A lot of 5.25 inch front panel bays Looks cool, especially with the blue LEDs High air flow, keeps everything cool
  • Cons: Not enough room behind the motherboard Motherboard back plate doesn't line up with the cut-out hole NO dust filters, not even one Noisy Cable routing holes are too far away from the motherboard causing a very messy look

Case came in damaged

Austin W., Newegg
5 December 2013
  • Pros: Perfect case for what I wanted besides the damage to back bottom left....
  • Cons: The case was bent and damaged on the bottom left corner. I don't believe it had anything to do with shipping because the box looked fine but the styrofoam on the inside was crushed and broken as well as the actually computer case. Now I have to pay to ship it back for a RMA, which is going to cos...

Something to watch for

Michael D. Todd "MTodd", Amazon
3 April 2013
  • Summary: I purchased one of these cases after reading several positive reviews and watching several videos on the product. The case basically is exactly as the manufacturer advertises it to be, but this is what needs to watched for.
