It's okay. Not great, just...okay.

  • Summary: This is a first impressions review. I'll write an update after stuffing components in and seeing a few months of operation. The good: +So much room for activities! While the 912 advertises itself as a mid-tower, you can stuff a plethora of hard drives, graphics cards, and fans into it.

Amazon 5 stars coolmaster could be better service. ARRIVED TOP DENTED!

  • Summary: Top of case arrived warped and damaged I had to punch it very hard back into place but it still looks odd. I messaged amazon and they gave me $20 gift card in exchange by my choice instead of having to ship it back to amazon (i live in hawaii) it was too much of a hassle.

Solid case, but not great quality

Marc Mest, Amazon
14 March 2014
  • Summary: Okay it is not an expensive case and it is solid and roomy. And the airflow is better than the cheapo cases. The problem I have is that the quality is not great. the metal edges inside are sharp, the small details are just junk.

  • Summary: Overall, you get what you pay for. This isn't the best case (I have a 650D and I love it), but it does the job well enough with a bit of a rugged, LAN party look. Put some LED fans in there and you've got a not-bad looking case.
  • Pros: - decent room behind the mobo tray for cable management, - works well enough for the price (paid $53 for it), - build a PC using this case for my brother and he's happy with this case (he chose it) so I can't complain about that, - comes with a good amount of cable ties., - tool-less solution for...
  • Cons: - only came with one tool-less bracket for the 5" bays, - one side panel had two thumbscrews, but the other had generic screws, - only came with two 120mm fans, neither of which are very good, - paint job is definitely on the cheap side

  • Summary: Nice case for the price. It is large enough to work in and manage things after you have everything installed. Lots of room for managing cables after everything is installed. Lots of fans can be installed, if you want them. Even has grommets for water cooling.
  • Pros: Large, Lots of room for cable management, Plenty of room and mounting spots for lots of fans
  • Cons: Large, Old fashioned method of attaching sides, Not painted on the inside, Edges of holes for cables to go through not protected with rubber, Power button is still plastic and may break after a few years of use

  • Summary: The case is loud, and offers budget cooling, but not budget silence. With a 212 EVO and 2 default system fans, then it's going to be one loud system. The HAF 912 is built pretty well, but some of the rubber supporting feet for the power supply fell off.
  • Pros: Cheap, Works, Looks okay
  • Cons: The inside isn't painted (which I knew before-hand), Loud

COOLER MASTER HAF 912 RC-912-KKN1 Black Computer Case

Madrona, pricebat.ca

  • Excerpt: It's essentially a pretty fantastic case, I run a CM v6 with my i7 2600k and it runs cool. Looks good with plenty of area. My challenge is with the smaller I/O board in the front which has a negative headphone jack.

  • Excerpt: The HAF912 is a extremely AWSOME searching case. Wonderful cable management, amazing seeking front grill. Good airflow. I added Æ’) 120mm fans and Æ‘) 80 mm fan. This is the largest midtower case I have ever owned. Component installation was a breeze.
