TOOL-FREE MECHANICAL DESIGN ??? False. Holes do not match up. Tried 2 separate chassis'. Neither worked.

Scott M., Newegg
26 March 2016
  • Pros: Nice looking case. Plenty of room. Lots of options for ventilation and cooling.
  • Cons: I purchased two different types of conversion brackets to accept a 2.5" SSD. Neither one worked. The holes do not match up. (1) ORICO 3.5'' to 2.5'' SSD/HDD Aluminum Mounting kit Bracket Converter Adapter(3.5 to 1x2.5) Black. This one was extremely tight fit. Quick install (no hassle ?) - NOT ! (...

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!

Timothy U., Newegg
25 March 2016
  • Pros: Other than a big paper weight, it's a junk box...
  • Cons: ZERO, and I mean zero cable management space, also, although it didn't smell like it I think this box is made out of poop...

User Review

Janine J., Newegg
6 June 2015
  • Pros: It's cheap.
  • Cons: It's cheap. The dust plates just bend and snap off as opposed to being detachable. It's hard to get them off without bending the entire back of the case which is incredibly flimsy. When it shipped it was already bent so much that I couldn't mount expansion cards to it without bending it to the co...

Absolute Junk.

Michael Z., Newegg
26 September 2014
  • Pros: Nothing at all.
  • Cons: All standoffs and screws stripped, took me 2 hours to remove it and on top of that, it ruined my motherboard because this wouldn't come out because of the stupid, stripped, threads in this case. This was supposed to be built for my fathers birthday, but now thats ruined. Thanks Cooler Master!

Looks nice, flimsy chassis

Michael M., Newegg
9 September 2014
  • Summary: I'm going to be returning this ASAP. Never purchasing Cooler Master again and making sure my system builder friends don't either. This was supposed to be a build for my mother's birthday, and she was really excited about it.
  • Pros: This case generally has a nice appearance. Lots of air flow potential with mounts for quite a few big fans. Low cost.
  • Cons: The metal used for the chassis is complete garbage. On top of that, the punch-outs for mobo cards are permanent. But not only that...they have tabs so that you have to remove the mobo completely in order to remove any individual one. Even one wrong twist and the supports between slots bend. When ...

3 hours later .. defective power button!

Tom H., Newegg
5 September 2014
  • Summary: 1.5 hours to tear apart my old computer .. 1.5 hours to put it all back together in this case .. Only to find out the power button does not work on this case ?!?! 2 hours later I have back together in my old case (works fine) I give up .. this thing is junk .. going back (or into the trash)
  • Pros: cheap $30 case case is shiny they give you screws
  • Cons: power button does not work .. renders the case worthless! I could not install 2 fans on top as the CPU - Heatsink was in the way, another reason I bought this case (worthless)

Came broken, did not provide part

Adam Y., Newegg
17 May 2014
  • Pros: Good price
  • Cons: Came with the see-through window broken. Used the coolermaster website to request a new part. Has been in the "pending" state for weeks, even -after- talking with a coolmaster rep on the phone who assured me up and down that the part would be rushed to me. I've used coolmaster for years. This is ...

If you can afford better, go with another brand

justin m., Newegg
8 February 2014
  • Summary: Price was cheap and If you don't have much money it's a good case to start a build with. Just be prepared to have to put a few bucks into it to make it cool before it's done in case your missing hardware or get some bad hardware like I did.
  • Pros: Clean case with most of the usual stuff that comes with a gaming comp like a see thru window, easy tool less installation of hard drives and optical drives. Plus in my opinion the coolest part of this case is how you can have one 140mm case fan pulling air in the front and four 120mm case fans (t...
  • Cons: The USB 3.0 hub in the front was broke after a week and both cooler master fans that came with the case died within a month. Plus originally I never got any of the motherboard screws that it was supposed to come with so I really lost out on all the accessories / hardware that came with the case s...

Audio issues with the front panel

Lynn K., Newegg
18 August 2013
  • Summary: I was able to get the case for 30 after rebates so it wasn't too bad.
  • Pros: USB 3.0 Fits my mobo well (Asus p8z77 V LK)
  • Cons: About half the time the sound is very quiet, right now if I turn and fiddle with the plug it comes through after a while. Tried with multiple headsets/earphones. I'm expecting it to break completely in the next few days. Almost not worth RMA unfortunately, I would have rather just not purchased i...
