Bad PSU x3

TJ V., Newegg
26 January 2012
  • Pros: Nice footprint, attactive case.
  • Cons: I've had 5 of these, and within 3 months all 5 have dead power supplies. I'm not driving many components and should be well within range. The last 2 I have purchased had Power supplies that were DOA. I understand Newegg's position that they would like the whole unit returned, but I couldn't have ...

Not happy!

Joel P., Newegg
27 October 2011
  • Summary: I'm happy with other Cooler Master Cases I've used.
  • Pros: 1) Case is small 2) Newegg was great about returning them, but I did have to pay return shipping.
  • Cons: 1) Power Supply Exhaust would likely recirculate into the case. 2) The 3.5" Ext Drive bay won't accept a typical multi-card reader. It does work well for a floppy drive! I may have to add some foam filters. This case isn't a desktop or tower, it's somewhere in between, and not good at either.
  • Pros: Full ATX board in a slim mini tower, no sharp edges, lots of cooling.
  • Cons: Vertical drive bays. Good thing I don't need to use any cd/dvds with this one, but then it's just wasted space. Front mounted power supply means you can't access the switch on it. Power supply mounting screw interferes with the 90 degree plug on the extension, 3 screws will hold the PS in place, ...

Won't work with K8U-939

Anonymous, Newegg
12 March 2010
  • Pros: Probably awesome, but I have no idea :p
  • Cons: Though the description says it's compatible with 939 boards, I just can't get this thing to work with my Gigabtye K8U-939. The brackets are too wide, there's just no way to make it work.
