Pretty disappointed

Cathy A., Newegg
17 March 2011
  • Summary: I got this as part of a DIY kit and my building screeched to a halt. I am crossing my fingers that the local Best Buy has SATA extenders, otherwise I'm going to be even more annoyed because I'll have to order even more parts!
  • Pros: Attractive. I like the blue stripe. Plenty of room for drives, although you'll have to replace the PSU first thing if you want to actually utilize that space.
  • Cons: Extremely annoyed at this case. The PSU problem could be worked around without the SATA power extender if you can fit a fat SATA drive into the top cage. Good luck with that - there are screws blocking it so a fat drive won't fit (a slim might.) Combined with the SATA drive cable shortness that e...

You get what you pay for

Jesse V., Newegg
5 December 2010
  • Summary: The power supply in my unit was DOA and when building a new system there is no simple way to test this. Luckily I was able to obtain an extra power supply and pin point the problem. This is a budget case and it should be expected that not everything is going to work properly with every unit.
  • Pros: Physical build is high quality. Case fan is included Front devices are labeled on wires (power, LED, USB, etc)
  • Cons: Two screws need to be removed for removal of HDD.

Nice case, junk Power Supply

Anonymous, Newegg
26 November 2010
  • Pros: Decent case, nice fan easy to put together. Bought from NewEgg, fast shipping A++++ On that
  • Cons: Arrived with dead power supply, but cable would be too short and too few... On the SATA side anyway.

Faulty power cord

Vladimir V., Newegg
20 August 2010
  • Summary: Power supply in fact is about 250-300W of continuous power, regardless of 400W label on it. Probably manufacturer means 400W of peak power? Anyway, PS is not suitable for modern video cards nor 125W CPU-s :-).
  • Pros: Very good quality for the price, free shipping. Lot of screws. Box is roomy enough to adapt modern components, good airflow with additional fans. Exterior has been designed for tech boys ( girls do not like it :-) ).
  • Cons: 1. Weak power supply. Modern components require much better PS. See other thoughts also. Sad part is that case itself has been designed for powerful computer. 2. DOA power cord. Before starting of RMA process because of "faulty" power supply, try to replace power cord first. I was really surprise...

A Mixed Bag

Arthur C., Newegg
14 July 2010
  • Summary: Case is acceptable. Newegg.com failed to list specifications for supply, so be wary of purchasing this unit.
  • Pros: The case itself is a good representation of affordable cases. It is not an Antec nor is the worst of the worst. Nonetheless, the case is affordable and my installation into the case had no problems with space or size.
  • Cons: That being said, Newegg.com has done a poor job explaining the powersupply. The powersupply does not feature any P4 connectors, nor PCI-Express. It has two serial ATA connectors and a suitable number of 4 pin molex connectors. Newegg didn't even list the name of the supply, it's just listed as "4...

Some good some bad

David P., Newegg
27 December 2009
  • Pros: Sturdy and looks nice.
  • Cons: Manual isn't correct. You have to remove both sides of the case to screw in burners and such. Only one set of Sata cables with poor reach. You will likely need to buy a molex to sata adapter on top of the case cost.

Case arrived in pieces, Cool Master to the rescue.

Eric S., Newegg
30 November 2009
  • Summary: None yet.
  • Pros: Great looking case, pretty good price.
  • Cons: RAZOR sharp edges. I cut myself the first time I touched it in order to rotate the case after having removed it from the box. Additionally, the case front plate clips were all broken off. Newegg agreed to pay for the shipping and replace it, however, Cool Master agreed to replace the face plate f...

Lots of quality control issues.

Patricia I., Newegg
1 November 2009
  • Summary: Buy a case and power supply separately, this just isn't' worth it.
  • Pros: Nice front panel design, logical case construction and setup.
  • Cons: The included power supply is NOT a Cooler Master power supply, but rather a cheap "Thermal Master". The power supply had no PCI-E connectors, and then failed within a week of use, totally unacceptable. Also, the side panels on the case don't fit completely straight, the the gap between the side p...
