Cooler Master Xport 251

2 February 2010
  • Summary: The Cooler Master XPort 251 is a great little enclosure. It is compact and very well constructed. But, the fact that there are so many other, similar enclosures out there with very similar traits at almost half the price the Xport 251 may never get noticed by those wanting an affordable and small case for their hard drive. The added pouch is a nice touch, but it does add a few Euros/US Dollars to the final retail price.
  • Pros: Adequate pricing, Very slim and compact, Rubber spacers to protect drive, Excellent read performance, Very good write speed, Dual USB header cable included, Pouch is perfect and only adds minimal size to the enclosure, Easy installation, Available in black or silver, Sandblasted aluminum shell
  • Cons: Other, similar enclosures from known brand names sell for 10 €, There are even smaller enclosures out there - the Vantec NexStar TX for example, Ugly white sticker on side

Cooler Master COSMOS PC Case Review

I4U News
25 August 2008
  • Summary: Verdict The Cooler Master COSMOS is by far the nicest looking case I have seen in a long time. The sound deadening materials inside actually work, there is a noticeable drop in noise levels in my office after changing to the COSMOS. Cooler Master simply went all out on the COSMOS so if you are looking for a attractive case that is both quite and cool, look no further.
  • Pros: Fantastic build quality, Ample room for your components, Designed to keep your gear cool

Cooler Master Cosmos

  • Excerpt: Consider this month’s batch of case reviews to be a second chance of sorts, as both companies highlighted this month have previously built total clunkers. Cooler Master threw down the iTower 930 in February, which was the functional equivalent of bringing a wiffle bat to a gunfight. And NZXT troubled us with the Adamas—which sported a relatively mediocre design when stacked up against its competitors.
  • Pros: Perfect for both air cooling and water cooling; almost all parts are easy to access.
  • Cons: Where's the connection for a front-panel hard-drive activity light?

Cooler Master Xport 251

15 October 2008
