love it

Joseph L., Newegg
31 December 2011
  • Summary: All and all I am loving the case, Its HUGE and i will build my next computer in it if its still working perfectly!
  • Pros: I have had this case for a long time now and it stands up to the test of time. I have over clocked most of my system and this case still remains cool! lives up to the coolmaster name.
  • Cons: the power button is a bit touchy, sometimes when plugging in USB's i will gently hit it and the computer will shut down.. Plenty of ways around it though and honestly it only happens like once in a blue moon.

  • Summary: Bought this because a friend has had it for years and still loves it!!!
  • Pros: Huge Looks good Can handle any kind of future upgrade Water cooling ability and good air cooling
  • Cons: Had to remove the 230 mm side fan to be able to fit the Hyper 212 Plus CPU Cooler (might want to add few more 120 mm fans to compensate, or just go water cooling)

Amazing Case

Theodore B., Newegg
10 October 2011
  • Summary: I have a Zalman 9700 CPU cooler and a XFX 6950 in this case and everything fits with tons of room around it and stays way cooler than my previous case. Its heavy, but the handles help you move the thing if you need to.
  • Pros: -HUGE case with excellent cooling options -The 230mm side case fan is enormous, but it moves a ton of air over the main peripherals in the case and is pretty shallow so it can hold a lot of the higher end/larger CPU coolers (I have the Zalman 9700) -The handles make the thing easy to move -The to...
  • Cons: -Its HUGE -The handles I mentioned earlier are important because this thing is heavy -Kinda wish the USB, mic, and headphone ports were on the front and not the top as it gets a lot of stuff in there that I have to clean out -As much as I thought I would like the power button being touch sensitiv...

Awesome

Chad B., Newegg
23 August 2011
  • Summary: needs more room for cables in back.
  • Pros: Very nice cable management features, and efficient airflow system. Works well with new, and experienced builders
  • Cons: you can't fit a 3 1/2 in drive into the front top slot if you have 3 fans on top.

  • Summary: I was upset it didnt come with the winning lottery numbers. System Im piecing i7 2600k ASUS P8P67 Deluxe OCZSSD2-1VTX 120gb SSD LG BD burner ($80, you cant beat that) OCZ 1kw PSU (fully modular & 80 plus gold certified) win 7 64-bit G.SKILL Ripjaws DDR3 1333 (16gb) PNY Quadro 4000 2GB 256-bit (went...
  • Pros: Excellent case. Have the original Cosmos and building my brother a workstation and decided to use this case due to future upgrades. I like the fact the top can be removed. No front door like the old Cosmos. HUGE 200+mm Fan on the side (will help cooling Qudro 4000 VC). HUGE CASE. So, for those wh...
  • Cons: Don't know who's fault it is but case came broken :( ... But thx to Newegg, another one is being shipped off the same day I rcvd the broken one. My old Cosmos came with 2 top fans and I was under the impression the new Cosmos did but I can't complain about that (i should have done more research, ...

Best Case I've Ever Owned

Karen G., Newegg
30 July 2011
  • Summary: I was hesitant to spend this much money on a case....but I will most likely not need a new case for many years to come. The build quality is exceptional.
  • Pros: I've owned this case for over three years and it is still as quite as the day I first turned it on. I love the top mounted Power Button, USB, eSata ports. Tons of room inside, easy to keep everything organized (which my OCD requires). The pushbutton optical drive-bay clips are very nice.
  • Cons: Heavy...but not a big deal if you dont move it around a lot.

Best one yet

Ben M., Newegg
14 July 2011
  • Summary: I recently purchased a haf x thinking of upgrading from the cosmos s. Once the haf x got here I decided to keep my system in the cosmos s. Also, for modders, the side panel is really easy to install a side window in.
  • Pros: - Space, its Huge. - Airflow, stock cooling is alright, but adding fans into all the additional ports and adding a second hd bay w/fan really boosted airflow in the case. -Looks, it has more style than Lady Gaga....bad example? -Enough room behind the MB tray to conceal cable mess. -Door latches ...
  • Cons: -No USB 3.0, not a really big deal, but it would be nice. -PSU filter really should remove to the rear outside of the case and not internally, installing a bottom fan makes its removable feature useless.

Awesome Case!

Edward H., Newegg
21 June 2011
  • Summary: I was hesitant at first because i thought this case was going to be too big. I took the risk and bought it was it was perfect. I have had this case for over a year now and have not had any problems.
  • Pros: This case is HUGE! Plenty of space for anything you want to through at it. The design is very strong and very sturdy. The filter makes it really easy to clean and virtually no dust gets on the inside. Has awesome noise cancelation too!
  • Cons: Honestly i can think of any!

Super Case

paul g., Newegg
25 March 2011
  • Summary: Even though i listed some cons above i would buy this case again in a heartbeat. Coolermaster is the best and most innovative case maker out there. As soon as finances permit im going to buy one of their 1kw psu's.
  • Pros: Big, sleek, great airflow. Water cooling is easy to setup. I haven't found any component too big to shove into this case. Too many pro's to list here.
  • Cons: There are a few, but they are minor. The stock fans are horrible. Replaced them with 7 Antec red led fans. The big side panel fan threw one of the blades off after one month of owning it, so i have been going without it. Like other people have said the removable top panel vibrates when fans are t...
