Best case I have ever had, but HUGE!

Brandon P., Newegg
28 October 2011
  • Summary: This is a big 'ol case, I knew it was big going it, but was pretty blown away when I actually received it. It is huge. Other than the little niggles in the cons, I am very happy with the purchase. I would buy a Cooler Master case again.
  • Pros: Absolutely stunning looking case. Very sleek and clean. It is huge, but it does give you plenty of room to put whatever you want in there. It is also pretty heavy, but very well built aside from the front panel.....more on that in the cons. The handles on top make moving the case a snap (just mak...
  • Cons: Just a couple and they are pretty minor. 1. The power supply is located on the bottom, which isn't a big deal, but unplugging it if it is back up against a wall kind of a pain. 2. The front panel kind of 'came loose' after a few months. It is still usable, but when you plug in a USB cable it kind...

I love it!

Daniel S., Newegg
26 July 2011
  • Summary: This case will last the rest of my life if I don't abuse it. - MSI Big Bang-XPower - Core i7-950 & Corsair H50 cooler (w/push pull fans) - CORSAIR XMS3 12GB (6 x 2GB) DDR3 1600 - 3way SLI MSI N470GTX with Koolance water blocks - CORSAIR CMPSU-1200AX 1200W - 2X Western Digital WD1002FAEX 1TB in RAID...
  • Pros: - Lots of room - Good air flow - Quiet - Solid
  • Cons: I took away one egg for the door latch but it is fine if you apply grey matter. In order to make the latch close securely you have to remove a little foam where the door contacts the latch bar and press hard just over the bar to make it snap all the way closed, you can tell when the release lever...

Loving this case

Anonymous, Newegg
24 November 2010
  • Summary: Really only thing that bothered me was that you could not circle any wires around the back of the mobo because otherwise the case wouldn't close. Only worth 1 egg reduction. Otherwise, loving it.
  • Pros: -It's Huge - There is so much room in this case, gonna cry -Hard drive slots - loving the buttons. -Nice setup - the inside is gorgeous -It is strong and durable. This baby is heavy. -Loving the air flow in the computer.
  • Cons: -Wiring - There is almost no room on the back of the mobo nor anywhere else to move some wires. Can get a little annoying.

  • Summary: I can never use another cheap case again. Overall this has been a very nice case.
  • Pros: I have been using this case for four years now. The case is very sturdy and the handles make moving the machine very easy. Also, the way the case is designed causes a very low amount of dust to enter the case. I have only had to blow it out twice and each time there is very little dust. The layer...
  • Cons: It's heavy. The air intake screens need to be cleaned pretty frequently. However, That's more of a trade off for not having the dust get in your machine though. Cable management could be improved.

This is a beast

Victoria B., Newegg
14 September 2010
  • Summary: I replaced all the fans in the case with high performance ones. so thats probably why its loud also get an extra 120mm fan to go on top of the HDD cages other than that its an awesome case... The best case i have ever owned
  • Pros: sexy looking High Quality its huge it fits an ATI 5970 it fits Coolermaster V8 has handles (its really nice for moving the case)
  • Cons: my only problem with this case is it has horrible cable management if there is any pressure on the side-panel it will not close the foam does not reduce noise...(other thoughts)

Cosmos

Morgan B., Newegg
28 August 2010
  • Summary: My cable management issues aside, this is the best case I have ever owned. The airflow, layout and options for expansion really leave me wondering if I will ever be purchasing another case. It looks neat and clean sitting next to my desk and runs quietly which were my two biggest needs.
  • Pros: Huge and well built! The case feels solid when handled and there is plenty of room inside for whatever you might need. My Zalman 9900A CPU fan fit with room to spare. Along with the Zalman cooler I added 2 more 120mm fans, one in the provided mount above the HDD (it does eliminate the use of the ...
  • Cons: I'm not one who deducts eggs for nit-picky reasons or because only the perfect product can earn that 5th egg... I took an egg away because of the cable management. I knew going into the purchase that a few reviewers had trouble with the bar running down the back panel and had to cut some of the s...

Great case, but not perfect

Nicholas C., Newegg
27 August 2010
  • Summary: I really love the case.
  • Pros: There is a ridiculous amount of space inside of this beast. The sound foam is great, and it just looks amazing. I like the placement of the USB ports and the power button. The bars to carry it by also come in handy. The price was great and free shipping on a package over 40lbs is crazy. Newegg is...
  • Cons: The sides will probably really annoy you when you try to put them back on. You have to get it just right. The stock fans really suck, but this was expected and they are easily replaceable. If you want fants cooling your hard drives, three of the bays do become useless. That is not a problem for m...

Big and quiet

Anonymous, Newegg
25 August 2010
  • Pros: This case is giant and easy to work inside. Everything stays cool with guided airflow. Most importantly, the big, slow fans and foam insulation make the case ultra quiet. Comes with lots of extra stuff, even some zip ties!
  • Cons: It is near impossible to connect some of the internal hard drive bays using the supplied cables. Once you slide a tray into place, you don't have access to the rear of the drive so you have to connect the SATA cables (easy) and power cables (hard) before you insert the tray. That means you need 5...

  • Summary: I would have prefered the solid black version, as not a huge fan of silver, but didnt see paying that much more just for black.
  • Pros: Lots of room, good design and look
  • Cons: bad cable managment, cant run my cables and keep then hiden without interferance from side pannels. Had a lot of trouble getting one side to stay closed. The case has a nice idea for keeping sides on when it works, took me 30 min and some force to get one side to stay on havnt found out if its th...
