Cute Case w- Poor Power Supply, and Tight Fits

John W., Newegg
1 February 2015
  • Pros: Overall, this is a nice format for a Media PC or compact desktop; especially if you are using a micro-atx motherboard with on-board graphics 1 hard drive and 1 DVD. Good looking case, with blue and glossy black finish. Front Panel audio connectors and 2x front facing USB ports.
  • Cons: Power supply lasted from June 2009 until January 2015, at which time it spat out sparks and expired. Placement of power supply makes fitting an add-in video card extremely difficult. Anything over 8.25 inches will be impossible. Routing of cables is also a challenge in the limited space available.

Bad Power Supply

Brian P., Newegg
26 January 2015
  • Summary: I bought two of the same setups.. I bought these cases because it had a 500W power supply to save a few bucks. I'm personally 50/50 on good power supplies. It would not have been too big a deal except that the return shipping is $39..
  • Pros: It's a good looking case for the money Good size and cooling for HTPC
  • Cons: Bad power supply Very bright LED's (Fixable) The I/O shield was very difficult to install

Disappointed a bit; overall OK

Fulvio C., Newegg
10 October 2014
  • Summary: Overall I like it; the power led is uber bright; but it is OK if you don't look at it directly. The case is great if you don't plan to put too many drives in it; I was looking for a small form factor that would support long video cards; and this was suggested to me, but sadly, I ended up making it a...
  • Pros: The case is nice, well panted and well done, considering the "made in China" and the price, I was expecting worst. It is compact, nicely done overall; it is also stylish enough to be kept on the desk instead than on the floor.
  • Cons: The PSU is fine, so far; altho it does not have 2 connectors for PCI-E video cards; so you will end up using the molex connectors, for any card that require a 8+6 connector, or a 6+6 connector. The big negative issue is the space for the video card. The PSU is basically mounted in front, instead ...

So far, so good

Younggyun C., Newegg
16 June 2013
  • Summary: I bought this product 3 years ago, and one more 2 years ago for HTPC and some computer stuff. So far so good. No PSU problems. I'm not heavy user, and that may be the reason. I'm satisfied with this product.
  • Pros: No PSU problem, Quiet, Cheap, small, fit for HTPC
  • Cons: Only two HDDs can be attached. (So from the beginning, it's better to attach large quan HDD) Too bright turning-on signal.

Please, put PSU position on other side!

Sherry T., Newegg
25 February 2013
  • Summary: Antec's bundled power supplies are always poor. I would prefer they didn't include a PSU with their case, and lowered the price of this product as an alternative. I'd also like to see an anti-static casing. I guess, aside from PSU location ebb, this is a great case (minus the PSU).
  • Pros: Lots of fans and cool case
  • Cons: The case can only fit an 8 inch long video card while bundled with a full-size ATX PSU. I could have opted for a microatx psu and put a 10 inch long video card instead, but I did not! Buyers beware, PSU placement in this case was very poor; instead, the psu should have been put on the adjacent co...

wish this case were anti-electrostatic

Sherry T., Newegg
23 February 2013
  • Summary: - Speaker is very small, so do not throw away! - make power light and hdd light into reflectors (I know when the computer is on because I can hear it or see the 120 mm blue led lights on the side)
  • Pros: - very cool on the inside (love the 120 MM side fans). - easy access to all parts of the computer (everything opens up). - quiet case (silent fans only in my computer) - fits Microatx motherboard (i love small computers; it's convenient)
  • Cons: - Power Light is too bright (they bother my eyes when I sit and watch TV in front of the PC) - HDD light is too dim. - Power light and HDD light should be between power light and hdd light now. - NOT anti-static. I shocked my computer 3 times already in a month as I have a lot of rug in my room. ...

Nice case, Disappointing PSU

James W., Newegg
18 January 2013
  • Summary: I noticed some shutoff issues in the first few weeks after setup, and I watched the computer for a couple weeks thinking (based on Windows Event Viewer) that it might be an issue with the OEM Athlon II processor that I used. I swapped the processor with a retail box processor and same issue showed.
  • Pros: Nice, easy to work with case that works well flat or as tower. Solid construction for an economy case. The blue/black has just a faint pearlescence to the blue color that makes it an attractive case on a black, rolling computer desk.
  • Cons: PSU = poor quality. The PSU died 32 days after purchase. Failed completely after sporadic shutoff issues.

OK But misses the mark

Thomas P., Newegg
2 October 2012
  • Summary: Nice looking case, but needs an updated power supply for todays SATA. Also needs to focus on being quiet. Get something without a power supply, or fans, and select the ones that fit your needs. Typically, I never order a case with PS so that I can get a good one for my needs (quiet).
  • Pros: Nice looking,
  • Cons: Power supply - appears old design. It has a good number of 4 pin molex, but only two sata power. Pretty frustrating when trying to install a SSD boot, HD, and DVD with only two SATA power connectors. Power fan is not all that quiet. I'm not using the two 80MM fans (they also are not quiet) I am u...

Decent HTPC case

Joseph S., Newegg
22 June 2012
  • Summary: I had to RMA the first one I got due to 7 of the 10 plastic pins holding it to the frame were broken clean off. Second one had no issue. I hear the PSU is sketchy, but you can always get a new one, mine tested good.
  • Pros: Looks good Optical bay cover
  • Cons: Front panel is flimsy
