Cons: It didn't fit in my bay, , and I'm sure it wouldn't have properly fit no matter how I put it in. The front plate for one wouldn't even fit in my 5.25" bay. It came with no instructions. It doesn't state that it doesn't fit certain front bays on the store page.
Summary: I will be avoiding Antec products from now on. They need a better support staff....and better support in general.
Pros: It's easy to build inside.
Cons: The case slowly died and in 6 months, died completely. Having a little above average tech knowledge and this being my first computer to build, I ended up buying 4 different replacement parts before realizing it was the case. The power button wouldn't work. I contact support, and accidentally sent them the wrong invoice, and while I am on the phone about the issue I go get the invoice and the support tells me the case won't be replaced but they will send me the replace...
Pros: This case was easy to build on. Well configured.
Cons: Right out of the box, one of the fans did not work. I didn't think that this was a major problem as fans are cheap. Now, (5 months after purchasing), the power button sticks. I have had much less problems with cheaper cases. Apparently, newegg will not let you return an item after 5 months so I'm stuck with a $70 piece garbage.
Summary: After this purchase, I think I will stick to fries from now on since newegg will not make right by this. Shipping a broken case? Obviously newegg has stellar QC.... This is my second case next to my bitfenix colossus and that was almost as bad a case, at least that wasn't basically DOA. After being a newegg customer for years and spending thousands of dollars on parts and warranties you would think newegg would be able to fix their mistakes.
Cons: Where to start. First off, Newegg shipped this thing to me with the front two panels broken where the dvd drives go in such a way that not only can I get them out, but they jiggle around and you can't install a cd. I have no cd drive installed because this case is broken. There is no toggle for the LED fan lights, you can only have them permanently on, or go into the case and unplug them from your mobo. It came with no cables for the front usb ports, so the only ones ...
Summary: Thought the bad front panel USB was due to my motherboard, so replaced my MSI H61M motherboard with a MSI P67A. Unfortunately the right side front panel USB port still not working. The USB port itself has no visual deformation so I now think the problem should be with the USB connectors or cable that goes to the USB header on motherboard.
Pros: OK price, good looking. Dust filter works well.
Cons: The right side USB port went bad after only less than a year of usage (I bought the case in 2011 but had not opened it until last year). I built more than 10 computers using Antec and other cases but this is the first time I got a USB port problem.
Cons: NO HDD rails or motherboard mounting risers included with case! I opened a chat with Newegg (Andrea) who confirmed that Antec 300 case does not include mounting hardware. Then I emailed Newegg (Jennifer 130624-004193) who again confirmed that HDD rails and m/b mounting risers are NOT included with the Antec 300. I've been building PC's for 30 years. I have never seen a case delivered w/o basic mounting hardware. Guess I'll return the case, but this is crazy.
Summary: I was going to use it to mount a standard 3.5" floppy drive-sized USB 3.0 front-panel connector; had to get a standard "caddy" drive bay adapter elsewhere.
Pros: None for me.
Cons: Should've read all reviews before placing the order; Bill on 8/3/2012 stated that this is not universal mount. Indeed, it is not, and so it doesn't work with cases (like mine) that don't utilize the standard "snap-in" drive bay front plates.
