User Review

Alexander H., Newegg

  • Summary: As soon as I turned on the case the power button got stuck and broke. The case has been unuseable since day one. I've actually had to turn on my computer via the mother board.
  • Pros: None

not enough clearance

micah s., Newegg
16 September 2013
  • Summary: After a 3.5" platter drive is installed in a drive bay only 7/8" or 1-1/8" of space is remaining for connectivity between the connection end of the hard-drive and the side of the case. In fact, a user is only offered 2 HD configuration options. There is no adjustability or ways to compensate for stiff cabling that will inevitably require more room than 1-1/8” of clearance. Bottom line, there is not enough room for cabling to flex properly while coming off of a HD.
  • Pros: read what follows

usb 3.0 don't work

Beth E., Newegg
14 August 2012
  • Summary: Antec has been my favorite case over the years, but this case changes that. Poor Quality for a company I expected the best from.
  • Pros: nice looking, big, plenty of room for fans
  • Cons: Not what I expected from Antec. Not a nice as their old cases. The front 3.0 USB (what I bought it for) don't work even thou I checked they are attached to my board correctly. I got one of them to work as USB 2.0 one or twice by giggling and pushing, but NOT functional. I am running with a USB extension cord of my back side ports. I have had 20 Antec cases and now I have ordered Something Else- NOT ANTEC for my next build. I don't want to redo my build or I'd put it i...

Poor design. Impossible to fit 8-pin ATX connectors after ...

Robert A., Amazon
28 July 2014
  • Summary: Antec Three Hundred Two Case. CONS. Very heavy. Not a case for moving around. Poor design. Impossible to fit 8-pin ATX connectors after motherboard fitted. No room allowed so motherboard has to be removed, wiring fitted and then motherboard re-installed. Do case designers ever build computers? Fitted top & rear fans are cheap two-speed fans and not PWM. Neither of these would work when plugged into the fan headers of a ASUS Sabretooth M/b.
