Summary: The chassis we received had some external (cosmetic) damage. The shipping carton itself was in good condition, as was the cushioning foam, indicating to us that this chassis was not dropped or otherwise mishandled by Newegg, or during shipment from Newegg to us.
Pros: * Shock-absorbing internal disk drive trays. Shock and vibration are the number one killer of hard drives, so this is a worthwhile feature. * 120mm rear bulkhead fan. These large fans can turn more slowly that the 80mm and 92mm alternatives, yet move as much air as the smaller fans with less blad...
Cons: * Locking front door. Not only does this "feature" offer an opportunity to lose the keys and thus not be able to gain access to the controls and drive bays, it sets up a situation where the DVD/CD drive can be fatally damaged if it receives an eject command while the door is closed. * Cramped int...
Summary: I called Antec support... they seemed nice enough (although no apology for all the problems) and I explained the problems and they said they would send me a new filter (front panel actually they said), and a new door panel.
Pros: ok construction - used to be better - MUCH better.. I had this same case I bought in 2010.. sadly, it had the ESD issue on the front panel, otherwise, I never would have gotten rid of that case.
Cons: Quality control is non-existent. My case came with a defective metal side door panel - flimsy as all get out- the metal easily flexes in your hand.. the panel was solid as a rock in my old 2010 sonata case. Also, my case was shipped with NO air filter... how does it pass "so-called" QC w/ no filt...
Summary: This is a pretty decent case with two major design flaws. The plastic door that covers the removable storage and power/reset buttons is a bad idea. First of all, why does that stuff need to be covered? And second, the plastic is flimsy and breaks easily.
Pros: Sturdy Easy to open Lots of drive bays
Cons: Plastic door breaks Power Supply can't be removed easily
Summary: i would say perfect but that defect is really big since its forever collecting dust...
Pros: great case and silent lots of room to work with.
Cons: i was attempting to clean the "dust tray"? i dont know the little plastic thing you can take out in the front of the case that has a grid. and one of the prongs broke off and its been stuck inside the case for years probably just packed with dust now.
There are too many superior options to settle for these problems

Pros: It looks decent. I do like the hard drive mounting bay for its noise reduction.
Cons: The PSU is very difficult to remove once the system is built. Most CPU coolers will get in the way, forcing you to remove the cooler or the entire motherboard before the PSU. Not fun. Also, some reverse-mounted PSUs like the fanless Seasonics will not fit through the hole, you'd need to find long...
Summary: you cant expect much with budget cases w/included power supplies.theres always a trade off, fortunately in this situation you get a great power supply with a sub par case and not the other way around.
Pros: comes with a Antec EarthWatts EA-500D Green 500W ATX12V v2.3 / EPS12V 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Power Supply.i gave only 2 eggs because this isnt a review just for the power supply, that would get 4-5.
Cons: front panel static discharge heat dust the 1 optional fan placement flimsy door its uglier in person price - yes even at this price you are not getting a deal. the power supply retails for $69 and the case is nowhere close to being worth the difference
Summary: I don't really know what was happening here. I really liked the case, seemed like a very sturdy and well built piece from a good name. Maybe it was just a fluke, IDK. Just thought I'd pass my experience along.
Pros: Really nice looking case. Easy access to internals. screwless mounts for HD's and cards. Nice filter on the front air inlet.
Cons: About six months after having the case, i noticed that it would reboot if I touched the front usb ports. I unplugged the cable connecting those ports to the board, and the same thing kept happening. I lived with it a while, just avoiding the front ports, but I would accidentally brush against the...
