Summary: Close, but not perfect. It is quiet, but the case fan is definitely audible. You won't hear the hard drives or other fans, though. I like that the intake air is filtered by a washable filter! I also like the highly rated power supply, which is really why I bought this case. Things I wish were different: 1) The blue power light is really bright. It's an effective night-light for my home office. 2) There's no cable management system to speak of. Zip ties to the rescue.
Similar to the Antec Sonata Elite, but lighter grade metal, and no sound isolation material. USB 3 ports are very welcome!

Summary: I chose this case because I had the Antec Sonata Elite case, and I was very happy with everything about that case. Unfortunately, that case was an older design and didn't have USB 3 ports on the front, and I don't think it's widely available anymore. This case is different than the Sonata Elite in a few ways. Some are good, and others are less than ideal when compared to the older case. The finish is very similar.
Summary: I bought this case for a new computer build and found it extremely easy to work with. PROS 500W Power Supply Already Setup Removable Drive Slots CONS Nothing so far NOTES 1 Fan (All though that is all I think I need right now and I could add more later) A little tight getting the wiring for the hard drives to the motherboard
Summary: Pros: Very quiet. High quality, seems sturdy, easy to load the drives. Love the all black look. Power supply is good and 500 Watts. Cons: Plastic door seems a little flimsy. Also the front USB, firewire and audio ports are kind of difficult to use, I mean that you really need to push the usb plug into the outlet and it scratches the cord's metal, same with headphones they are a little difficult to push into the front port. Other than that it is a nice sturdy case.
Very good case with a few opportunities for improvement.

Summary: This is a very sturdy steel case. The finish is not the "piano black" that I got on the last Antec Sonata case I used in 2004, but I think that I like the new finish better. It doesn't show fingerprints as badly, but still looks great. Inside, the corners where wiring typically runs are folded over to avoid sharp edges nicking wires, but some areas that I typically run cables (I am very critical when it comes to clean cabling) are very sharp and can easily cause damage...
Summary: I have purchased three of these cases over the years and have found them to be well-made and very quiet. Very few cases these days come with a lock on the front, but the lock is very useful when you have small children (it prevents them from accessing the optical drives or power-cycling the computer). The cases are very attractive although the shiny metal surface does show fingerprints.
Summary: The case is stylish and overall, built rather well. For a novice computer builder, I had to figure some things out. The instructions are rather on the short and sweet side, but were enough to go on. It is a little crowded in there if you've got a lot of extra stuff, but it's not bad, overall. One review had strongly recommended added a second fan in the front. I haven't done that yet, so to be safe, I have the back case fan set on Hi (it has 3 settings you can choose).
Summary: Bought this for a quiet pc. Meets my needs and fits full atx motherboard. It is silent as described although setting up was a little trickier than I expected. I spent a ton of time searching for the screws which are in a small cardboard box tucked in the hard drive bays. Installing hard drives is a little tricky also. You have to insert screws through rubber grommits on hard drive bay holders after removing them. You can google on the web for how to do.
Summary: Had the Antec Sonata III 500 Quiet Super Mini Tower ATX Case (Black)for around 6 months, and given the reasonable cost of the case I happy with it. I have a Gigabyte mainboard, 3 x SATA disk, DVD burner, floppy installed, seems to be plenty of room. My last case (real cheapo item) rattled and vibrated when the disks were in use, the disks themselves are virtually inaudible, the issue was with the cheap loose fitting hardware on the old case, this case with the same...
Excerpt: Lots of space for every little thingAdded usb portsLocking case is nice if I have anything critical in the driveQuiet It is not fairly as quiet as it was made out to be, it still has a hum that I can hear continually but it is quieter than most circumstancesSort of annoying obtaining to open the front door to access the drives, but it does preserve it quieter and the lock is good.
