Close to perfect

Vorticity "Weatherman", Amazon
3 October 2014
  • Summary: Close, but not perfect. It is quiet, but the case fan is definitely audible. You won't hear the hard drives or other fans, though. I like that the intake air is filtered by a washable filter! I also like the highly rated power supply, which is really why I bought this case.

Similar to the Antec Sonata Elite, but lighter grade metal, and no sound isolation material. USB 3 ports are very welcome!

S. Jentsch, Amazon
23 August 2014
  • Summary: I chose this case because I had the Antec Sonata Elite case, and I was very happy with everything about that case. Unfortunately, that case was an older design and didn't have USB 3 ports on the front, and I don't think it's widely available anymore.

Good Quality, Quiet Case

Jeremy R. Easton-Marks, Amazon
4 April 2013
  • Summary: I bought this case for a new computer build and found it extremely easy to work with. PROS 500W Power Supply Already Setup Removable Drive Slots CONS Nothing so far NOTES 1 Fan (All though that is all I think I need right now and I could add more later) A little tight getting the wiring for the hard...

Nice case

V. Sandberg, Amazon
17 March 2013
  • Summary: Pros: Very quiet. High quality, seems sturdy, easy to load the drives. Love the all black look. Power supply is good and 500 Watts. Cons: Plastic door seems a little flimsy. Also the front USB, firewire and audio ports are kind of difficult to use, I mean that you really need to push the usb plug...

Nice polished design, but some noise

somegradstudent, Amazon
2 August 2011
  • Summary: I've had the case for 4 months now. The 120mm fan that comes with it is a bit loud when put on maximum speed, although I think I got used to it by now and don't notice it. The case does have space for another 120mm fan on the front and with a quiet fan, could be quieter.

Very good case with a few opportunities for improvement.

James Brooks "S. Brooks", Amazon
4 April 2011
  • Summary: This is a very sturdy steel case. The finish is not the "piano black" that I got on the last Antec Sonata case I used in 2004, but I think that I like the new finish better. It doesn't show fingerprints as badly, but still looks great.

Solid, quiet and understated good looks.

Chris from Tucson, Amazon
22 March 2011
  • Summary: Quiet operation. Solid metal black look is classic, without bringing too much attention to itself. Wife was worried when i wanted to put a desktop in the living room, but loves how quiet and sleek this computer performs.

Quiet, consistent, well-made

Frank Richfield, Amazon
22 March 2011
  • Summary: I have purchased three of these cases over the years and have found them to be well-made and very quiet. Very few cases these days come with a lock on the front, but the lock is very useful when you have small children (it prevents them from accessing the optical drives or power-cycling the...

Nice case, but not real quiet

Shawn Mulligan, Amazon
28 January 2011
  • Summary: The case is stylish and overall, built rather well. For a novice computer builder, I had to figure some things out. The instructions are rather on the short and sweet side, but were enough to go on. It is a little crowded in there if you've got a lot of extra stuff, but it's not bad, overall.

Nice and quiet!

barelymd, Amazon
1 January 2011
  • Summary: Bought this for a quiet pc. Meets my needs and fits full atx motherboard. It is silent as described although setting up was a little trickier than I expected. I spent a ton of time searching for the screws which are in a small cardboard box tucked in the hard drive bays.
