Summary: I bought this from the Amazon Warehouse because the description led me to believe that, at most, there was only a little cosmetic damage. Instead, I discover that the case had been dropped with such force that the rear of the case had been deformed because of the effects of the heavy power supply on the lightweight metal. The motherboard I/O shield couldn't even be snapped into place.
Summary: The case is described to have a front eSata port, what I got from Amazon didn't. Only has the two front USB ports. I didn't realize of it untilI I had build the unit and thrown away the packaging, otherwise I would've returned it. The manual (pg. 5) also states the case comes with the optional front fan, it didn't. I might have gotten a knock off, or Amazon/Antec are misrepresenting.
Excerpt: Nice Searching and simple assembly. Decent energy supply. Particularly poor power switch. Switch is a thin disk form which sticks regularly when depressed, causing failure to boot. Has carried out this from day a single. I don't do returns, I decide on to repair myself.I am going to replace it with a distinct switch regardless of how it appears. Must have accomplished it lengthy ago! Newegg nevertheless rocks, It's not their fault!
Excerpt: not a lot of, looks decent... Case is a royal piece of JUNK! front door is a discomfort, and Extremely flimsy. I would give it a month or so before it falls off or breaks.Of far more concern even though is that Antec still has not solved the static dicharge issue with this case. I installed all elements and booted into each Linux and windows with a USB drive to set up.
Excerpt: straightforward to install almost everything, effectively laid out As mentioned in some of the other evaluations, there is a large challenge with static discharge. For me, it specifically happens on the front panel USB ports. The very first time I noticed it was when my screen went blank upon plugging in a USB flash drive to the front panel. Had to reset CMOS prior to my pc would reboot.
Excerpt: Great quiet situation. Very same ESD (Electro Static Discharge) problem as a lot of have had. Touching the front USB connector result in the process to reboot without having warning. I would recommend that Antec/Newegg offer an quick remedy or cease selling the defective product.
Excerpt: For standard requirements this is a nice situation Special screws are necessary to mount difficult disc in their trays. I like the setup but the method only comes with 4 of these screws which is enough to mount a single disc. To mount added discs I would need to buy far more screws but their internet website does not sell them. As far as I can tell they are not any sort of typical screw and not accessible from a third party.
Excerpt: None. Their buyer service has turned into a total nightmare. I politely requested 1 single fan to be replaced some time immediately after this one broke, and it was some of the worst buyer service I've ever seen. I applied to like Antec but now they've gone downhill.Hooray it's a low-cost situation with an high-priced price. Power supply is an airplane. Can have a terrible static discharge problem. Annoying and easily breakable bezel. The fan rapidly broke.
Excerpt: Fundamentally a incredibly great item on the surface. See cons even though. The ESD challenge on this product has triggered me untold amount of hours among mobo and USB based peripheral vendors in order to nail down this challenge. This contains many, several painful hours with different tech support personnel, emails, phone calls, ...
