Dent on top of case

Anonymous, Newegg
30 December 2015
  • Summary: Much like another reviewer mentioned my case also had a significant dent on the top. The shipping box was in good condition. ... This would seem to imply a failure in QA, or that my case was an open box.
  • Pros: - Nice looking functional case.
  • Cons: - Damaged - A little larger than expected

Great Case

Anonymous, Newegg
29 December 2015
  • Summary: After 6-7 months the status led on the front stopped working. One email was enough for a replacement to be sent, no questions asked.
  • Pros: Bought this a year ago so this is after some using. It's big, has room enough for everything, the three included fans on LOW setting are quiet, it fits the CM Hyper 212 EVO with room to spare, good cable management.
  • Cons: No cons

Faulty

Iang, dabs.com
14 December 2015
  • Summary: Case good except for case fan that didn't work. Antec most unhelpful and required fan to be returned to Rotterdam at buyers expense for testing and possible replacement. This for a £5 fan! Not recommended.

Slightly underwhelmed

cdstealer, dabs.com
18 November 2015
  • Summary: I purchased this case as it met all my requirements and several online reviewers also confirmed what I was after. The case itself it great to build with. Lot's of room and reasonably high quality build as you'd expect from Antec. However, the front ports are not up to the job.

Adequate Case, Overpriced

Murad K., Newegg
29 September 2015
  • Summary: I bought this case in 2012, iirc. At the time it was a pretty good case, but it has not aged well at all compared to other offerings out there. Other brands have popped up and become popular such as NZXT and Fractal that offer a **much** better value at lower price points.
  • Pros: Large grommets and backside opening for cable routing. Uniform coloring (all black). Easily accessible/removable filters for cleaning. Dedicated slots for two SSDs Good space for HDDs USB 3.0 ports Strong magnet to hold the front cover
  • Cons: Somewhat cheap construction. Coming from the P182 this case felt and is definitely cheaper in design and construction than what Antec used to make. Case feet are cheaply made and can easily fall off or break. Front door feels cheap. Power and reset buttons are oddly placed on top away from front ...

Dented

GPSL S., Newegg
5 May 2015
  • Pros: Solid case; huge mid and metal in all the necessary places. Perfect for users without the need to look at their computer's insides. Metal is thick and heavy. This is a great looking case; the more I look at it the better it looks.
  • Cons: Received with small dent on top; I am not concerned with it, but it would freak out users who want perfection. It is small, perhaps 3mm in size and on the edge. Painted so maybe it happened before production? It was packaged very well so it appears to be a QC problem. I don't want the hassle of d...

Intelligent design, professional appearance

Tyler S., Newegg
2 May 2015
  • Summary: Packed with the soft foam surround instead of regular poly. Came in with zero damage even with some abuse the exterior of the box.
  • Pros: Large, tool-less design. Plenty of protection in cable run areas. It was nice to see grommets so your cables aren't marred or nicked. The filter under the case is easily removed allowing for cleaning. The two clip front filter is a massive improvement over the prior Antec (900 two) I was using. T...
  • Cons: No complaints, comparing this to a few other Antec cases owned.

Beautiful case

David B., Newegg
11 March 2015
  • Summary: Case requires long leads from your power supply since its mounted at the bottom of this really tall case. Cable management is GREAT!!! Soft grommets and folded edges everywhere, no sharp edges. This is a VERY SOLID case!!!!
  • Pros: Beautiful clean Design when door closed. Large, wide and tall Case, big plus for water cooling or large cpu coolers and long GPUs. not all GPU's will fit, HDD cage is not removable that i can see. Supports Huge CPU cooler (coolermaster Hyper 212 with both Fans). Lots of wire management space behi...
  • Cons: Door only opens from right to left - not too bad. Magnetic door catch is not that strong - door barely stays closed. *Header connectors for LED's and power buttons are too short to be run through wire management to the front lower edge of a typical ATX form factor MB, much less the back lower edg...

QUIET CASE

Christopher N., Newegg
20 February 2015
  • Summary: the computer sits right by my leg on the floor so its easy to hit the power or reset button with my knee, it would be nice if they had more play so a gentle touch didn't make them contact
  • Pros: I love this case, I make music and having the mic in the same room as your workstation can make things really difficult when your case is even somewhat loud, this thing is suuper quiet which is exactly what I was looking for, it has foam inside the case to dampen the sound and has fan block offs ...
  • Cons: Only con on this thing is the rubber feet attached with adhesive, if you are in and out of your computer like me its annoying that they pop off and you cant stick them back on, I understand the reason being is they want it to be QUIET and rubber feet will absorb the sound on say a hard floor, i'm...

Low Quality

Sung P., Newegg
19 February 2015
  • Summary: This is my third Antec Case. I had P180, P182 and now P280. I decided to replace my p182 because two front usb ports very lose because of heavy usage. Also P280 was on sale and it offered TWO 2.0 and TWO 3.0 USB ports. I was disappointed when this case arrived and when I powered on.
  • Pros: - Cable Management - Many Drive Bays - Roomy - Power, reset, and USBs are easily accessible now compare to P180 and P182.
  • Cons: - Not Quiet Computing anymore -- Noisy - Low Quality - Cheap Plastics - Cheap Fans
