  • Summary: At first I had trouble getting my power supply to fit into the included enclosure. Then the cabinet style door snapped on it's hinges within two days of purchase. I continued using the case because of the trouble of transferring to another but the bright LED lights on the front of the case were bright enough to keep me awake at night until I covered them up.

  • Conclusion: To test the cooling efficiency of the case, I first made sure that the cables inside were tidy and not in the way anything to block airflow. All fans were used, including the extra 1200RPM 120mm fan. Despite an eVGA board being shown during installation, the final testing was completed using a slightly different setup.

Performance One

nylonic48, Ciao
28 May 2010
  • Excerpt: "...are likely to have. The Antec performance P182 case is the case, in my opinion, that all cases are judged by, it's basically a work of art and I suspect that Antec , if they were honest about it, would admit they were lucky in many ways when they designed it, it's just too perfect for design alone, oh, except the power button is behind the door, but I can live with that. The P182 doesnt have a million lights, clear panels, stealth design shapes protruding ...
  • Pros: Perfection almost achieved
  • Cons: Power button behind main door .

Antec P182

MRob909, Ciao
4 January 2009
  • Excerpt: "...the inside, you notice how antec have separated the power supply from the motherboard and other components, this is to create two 'pods' as it were. This is very effective because it has the components with the most heat and noise e.g. power supply and hard drives at the very bottom so that the two 120mm fan's can extract it straight from the bottom. The inside of the case has adequate room for a full atx motherboard and a large heatsink (my heatsink ...
  • Pros: Quiet, Excellent quality, lots of room
  • Cons: Quite big on the outside, cost

Antec P182

fatnickcc..., Ciao
27 January 2008
  • Excerpt: "...other cases, such as the Antec Nine Hundred, provide a better option, with the disadvantage of more noise, worse looks and fewer of the little touches Antec have put into the P182. For the still very good airflow and lack of noise, the P182 is a good choice for the computer-user looking for a quiet system with performance components. ...
  • Pros: Low noise, very good airflow  +  cooling, easier cable management, stylish
  • Cons: High price, better airflow available
