  • Excerpt: The design and execution of the P160W, while not perfect, is very impressive indeed. It's quiet and has very good cooling potential. With the exception of the drive rail issue and the rather fussy stealth cover buttons, the case was a pleasure to work with. I particularly like the design of the HDD drive trays, the motherboard tray and the control panel.

Antec's P160 ATX Case

  • Summary: Coming from the world of steel beige boxes, I have to admit I had a little bit of sticker shock when I first saw the price of the P160. But let's face it, comparing the P160 and a boring beige box on price is just silly. In the realm of aluminum cases, the P160 is reasonably priced for an enclosure of its size.

  • Summary: The Antec P160 is roomy and easy to work on. The removable motherboard tray will come in handy for people who swap out components on a regular basis. The 120mm fans certainly provide great airflow. The I/O panel location makes great sense and is a pleasure to use, the poorly positioned reset button excepted. The aluminum construction makes this case noticeably lighter than a steel case of comparable size, something the LAN Party guys will appreciate.

Antec Performance One P160 - Mid tower Case

  • Conclusion: The Antec P160 is one of the best cases on the market today. It will keep your PC cool, quiet and running smoothly for sometime. The case has been well designed meaning it’s easy to install your equipment in. While the P160 has been replaced by the Antec P180, the P160 is easier to install and feels a lot stronger. Plus the absence of a door is an obvious advantage. The value as well as quality this case offers can’t be ignored.

  • Conclusion: Antec have impressed me once again. The styling of this case is a standout although I'm sure there'll be a lot of debate about whether or not people like it. From a practical point of view it's very hard to fault. An extremely well-built and lightweight case which runs quietly with good cooling, is easy to work inside and brims with genuinely useful features.
