Absolutely not worth the money compared to other cases

Nate Y., Newegg
20 March 2015
  • Summary: The case functions just fine, and I wouldn't say its a horrible case, however the bottom line is you can get so. much. more. at the 90 dollar price point that I could never recommend this case to anyone anymore and even felt the need to write this review and give it 3/5 stars.
  • Pros: I bought two of these cases, one for my personal PC and one for my brother. The cases were great at the time, however after owning them for 3-5 years and seeing the evolution of case design and standards I felt I needed to leave a review on this case, because in my opinion, this case does not des...
  • Cons: Where to begin? I feel like the case industry has just moved on and has much higher standards than when this case first came out. Things such as tool-less installation, better cable management, better support for things like radiators, etc... all come standard on many cases, even at the 50 dollar...

13 February 2015
  • Pros: everything you really want in a case
  • Cons: within the first 6 months the top front fan started to fail and broke. after a year the other front fan has stopped working

Great air flow, terrible cable management

Matthew A., Newegg
30 January 2015
  • Summary: If you don't have an issue drilling a few holes in the case, I would rate this a 5 and recommend it for sure. Really, it's not very hard to do but I know some people like to avoid drilling. If you do want to buy a case and use it as is, I would look elsewhere.
  • Pros: Tons of room Great air flow with the 4 fans Window on the side looks great Reasonably priced Antec customer service is supposedly great (haven't had to deal with yet personally)
  • Cons: Cable management is terrible. Worth docking 2 eggs for IMO. This case has been out for a while now with a couple different revisions and Antec has added 2 holes for cable management - Why they can't just add 2 more is beyond me. Buyers shouldn't have to mod a brand new case to get any decent form...

Fabulous Case, but...

William I., Newegg
10 December 2014
  • Summary: - Did not easily fit my CORSAIR Hydro Series H100i Extreme Performance Cooler. I was able to mount the radiator to the front intake fans without any cutting/welding/botching. Not a CON but just buyer beware.
  • Pros: (Giving this a 3.5)...Outdated case. I've owned the Twelve Hundred for roughly 7 years, and the case (or tank as I like to call it)is bullet proof! Since I was no longer in need of a full size tower, I opted for it's small brother Nine Hundred. The Nine hundred is still an extremely well made cas...
  • Cons: - Drive bays, solidly built, but still difficult to remove. Have to access both sides of the case. - Front grilles are a PITA and must be removed, 2 screws on inside of case, to get to airfilter and drive bays. The Twelve Hundered just popped out. - No SSD bays, still have to use the adapter. - L...

Not Great

Charles L., Newegg
26 November 2014
  • Pros: Plenty of Room for a Good GPU, USB 3.0, Good Cooling
  • Cons: Hard drives are a royal pain to remove and replace. Front grills are prone to moving around even when tightened as much as possible.

Solid, but no place for cables

Kimberly N., Newegg
24 November 2014
  • Summary: In 2010/2011, I would probably have given 5 eggs, but now there are better products.
  • Pros: Case is solid, heavy, and well built. Mine has been working with no problems for 4.5 years now. The front-mounted audio and USB ports are most helpful.
  • Cons: The case provides no room under the motherboard to route cables, leading to a more cluttered top end than necessary. Long video cards will require removing a HDD cage. The comments about dust collection are accurate but typical of cases generally if they don't have intake filters.

Great case needs an update

Evan B., Newegg
20 November 2014
  • Summary: Antec makes some great cases and this WAS no exception. But this case has been on the market since like 2006 w/ no modifications. I think it is overpriced considering what you are getting. Docking one egg for the price and another egg for the missing features I'd like to see.
  • Pros: 1. Built like a tank
  • Cons: 1. Requires tools to install drive bays 2. Need a kit to convert 5.25" bays 3. No air filters 4. Expensive

Rad, but cramped

Jeremiah B., Newegg
27 October 2014
  • Summary: This is a good case, despite its faults. I prefer dust-filters and full-size cases now, however. If you don't mind buying canned air every so often and like smaller cases, this is a good choice.
  • Pros: Looks awesome as hell. Easy to carry. So many fans. Has a place for a side mounted fan and those are amazing and you should have one.
  • Cons: Lets in a TON of dust. Quite cramped - if you plan on having a modern graphics card you're going to have a bad time (it will fit, but it will be exhausting).

Meh

Triena H., Newegg
9 October 2014
  • Pros: Sturdy, reliable. Comes with pre-installed fans, with nice leds.
  • Cons: Out of my whole build, this is the one thing I'm not 100% satisfied with. The case is rather small and full metal, and there is very little instructions when it comes to building. The case itself looks ok, but the fans are loud and not that efficient, the leds are a bit bright, and the case itsel...

Low Quality Buttons

Alex D., Newegg
15 September 2014
  • Summary: Overall not too bad but the low quality really put me off.
  • Pros: This case does look good!
  • Cons: I had to open the top panel and re-solderthe power and reset switch because the heat shrick didn't hold the cables in place.
