Pros: New system build. No pros yet ... but will update.
Cons: First Issue so far ... Bottom bracket of back plane under where power supply is installed arrived bowed. New egg Customer Service suggested I install the power supply and see if there were any issues. Really. I test installed the power supply, which put excess pressure on the sideplane tab (part ...
Summary: I'm surprised how long I put up with this case. I own a 540 Air with 3 of the fans in that case and couldn't be happier. There are so much better PC towers out there for the same price and reading some of the reviews, the control panel isn't much better. Still have the same problems I have.
Pros: Decent air flow with minimal HDD/SSD in the bays. Side fan that can sit next to the GPU. Lots of fans came with it. USB 2.0 slots, on/off switch and reset button still work. Bought it in 2008 and still use the fans but in a different case. That's about it.
Cons: Fire Wire port stopped working. Both headphone and microphone ports stopped working. Hard to clean because it has so many screws and its worse if you have more than 2 HDD's. Wire management is pretty much non-existent. Collects dust like a vacuum cleaner. If you have three 3.5" drives in one or b...
Summary: This is my second rig built using an Antec 900. The first one has had no problems for 7 years, but the recent version I bought in November has faulty USB 3.0 ports on the front. One doesn't work, and the other doesn't register as a 3.0 port.
Pros: Good airflow, room for big cards, quiet
Cons: Faulty USB 3.0 ports, Poor customer support, difficult disassembly
Summary: The run around on the replacement parts will have me looking elsewhere as I'm planning 2 new builds currently.
Pros: I have 2 of these cases that I've used for pc builds. Wire management was good, lots of space and everything felt durable.
Cons: I'm not sure if this issue has been fixed but there is a feed back problem with the audio on the front header ports. For instance if you use a headset from there you'll constantly hear a buzzing going up and down as power draws. There's quite a few posts on the net with people more knowledgeable ...
Summary: Recently a young man with few brains and lots of cash asked me to construct the ultimate gamer computer. I got together the latest and fastest extreme core2 intel chip with an asus striker extream MB. along with 4 gigs of the best Patriot ram and two EVGA 7950 gs video cards.
Pros: nice looking and Lots of fans
Cons: everythings else, Poor fit. poor design. lack of external drive bays.
