Summary: Case is Heavy. Which does mean that if you want a small system to haul around it's heavy but it doesn't bend or flex.
Pros: Nice small case, clean design, very solid. If you have big hands you're not going to be happy. But it is a perfect case for a computer hooked to the TV. I've purchased 2 of these cases so far. And Love them for the small size. Front Panel USB3. If you want a CD/Dvd/Blueray in the case, it has to ...
Cons: The case really needs puchouts for a db9 (serial) and db25 (parallel). A lot of the mini itx motherboards have headers for serial/parallel ports, and the punches to make the holes are expensive. Front panel power led is from a drive connector not a header. On one case the front panel USB cable wa...
Summary: The harddrive tray could have easily been designed to accept 1 3.5 inch harddrive
Pros: Antec makes a good heavy steel case Looks nice Well ventilated
Cons: Plastic extention in front unnecessary Antec - when are you going to come into the 21 century Stop using large molex connectors for fans And please never use molex connector for power light No provision for message light for sleep or standby
Pros: power supply inside case, not a separate brick silent power supply fan lots of ventilation tasteful design
Cons: case fan is not as quiet as I hoped, I'm still experimenting with different fan configurations to replace it pci slot card / cover attachement mechanism sticks out the back a bit and doesn't always seem to come together perfectly light around power button is super bright, I just left it unplugged
Pros: Does the job, relatively good price, pretty good amount of space for being mini-ITX, solid construction
Cons: Somewhat large for a m-ITX case but that is a trade off for the additional drive bays. Biggest problem is the power supply cord isn't long enough for some Intel Atom boards. This is easily fixed with one of these: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16812186072
Summary: I built a PC using this case as a workstation (to complement my HTPC) and it works well after some serious cable management (military style -- lots of zip ties!). I was able to obtain unimpeded airflow through the case with this cable management technique.
Pros: -- Great layout and organization for Mini-ITX form factor SFF PC. -- Use of slim optical drive lowers space considerations -- Optional 80mm fan adds cooling capacity (in addition to the installed 80mm Antec Tri-Cool) -- 150W PSU is good for 2 hard drives, optical drive and (max) 65W TDP CPU -- Fr...
Cons: -- Optional fan spacer clips block installation of motherboard. (I removed this anyway to install a fan) -- Power cable from mains to PSU blocks impedes long expansion card installation -- Optical drive sits a little high on the tray -- the drive bezel scrapes the top of the opening in the case. ...
Summary: You probably won't need all the connections of the built in power supply so you'll need to manage any extra cables well to maximize airflow. Optionally, you could remove the internal PSU and fit it for an external power supply instead for plenty of room.
Pros: This low profile case, with built in power supply and room for a half-height slot was exactly what I was looking for. Some people might have a problem with the length of the case, but it is perfect for me. I went with a Slot Load slim 5.25" drive so there are no moving parts of the drive that cou...
Cons: Front panel did not have a protective film and looked slightly roughed up. It isn't really noticeable from the distance I will be from it though. A hard, slick, front panel cover would have be better and look nicer. You can only attach the slim 5.25" drive to the case with 1 screw and from one si...
Summary: Perfectly designed in and out, manufactured with precision and attention to detail, the case is also robust compared to others. There is plenty room for HDD's, DVD, PCI and I presume even for a large CPU fan (didn't try myself but heard from other people).
Summary: This is a great looking case, and surprisingly easy to work inside. I installed a Antec ISK 310-150 Mini-ITX Desktop motherboard, Intel i5 CPU and a 120GB SSD no problem. Opted to not have an optical drive at all, and would have like the option of a front fascia without the load bay for one.
