Antec ISK110 VESA Mini-ITX Desktop

28 December 2012
  • Summary: The Antec ISK110 is an extremely compact ITX chassis that can still hold two 2.5" hard drives. There are plenty of other ITX cases out there and some are even more compact than this one, but there are very few that also give you USB connectivity at the front and the ability to VESA mount. That said, while the ISK100 was one of the most affordable ITX DYI cases out there when we took a look at that chassis, things have changed a bit.
  • Pros: One of the most compact DIY ITX enclosures out there, Added ability to mount on the back of a monitor with the VESA 100, Two 2.5 inch hard-drive bays included, Four, well-spaced apart USB 2.0 ports at the front, Enough space within the chassis for standard coolers, thanks to the extruding metal-mesh cover, Sturdy construction, Can power up to 80W of components, Simple, but very protective packaging
  • Cons: Restrictive interior, Dust can easily enter the chassis due to open side, No USB 3.0, No Card Reader, Slightly long cables, Simple brown packaging

  • Summary: The Antec ISK110 VESA Case fits mini-ITX form factor motherboards and can be mounted to the back of just about any monitor. It has great styling, lots of ventilation, two 2.5" drives can be installed and there are 4 USB2 ports. Fantastic product for a, all-in-one computer build.

Antec ISK 110 VESA Case Review: Just About As Small As It Gets

31 August 2012
  • Conclusion: When you're talking about the Antec ISK 110 VESA, it's important to note-and I've stressed this over and over-what you're giving up. Even for a Mini-ITX system, you're sacrificing a lot to hit a form factor this small. That's not necessarily a bad thing; the ISK 110 VESA isn't intended for full-powered or even compact-powered systems and Antec makes no bones about it on their product page. It's meant for kiosk and basic lightweight corporate and personal use.

Hardware Review

  • Conclusion: It's not without a few flaws. The cable length of the 4-pin power connector is too short for many Mini-ITX motherboards (although extension leads are cheaply available online) and the lack of an internal optical drive means that HTPC use will require prior ripping to hard drive or streaming from another server but that is to be expected of an enclosure of this size.

Antec ISK110 VESA Case Review

Hardware Secrets
25 June 2012
  • Summary: The Antec ISK110 VESA is an excellent solution for users who want a tiny computer that won’t take up space on their workspace and that will be hidden from view. It doesn’t allow the installation of add-on cards, so it is targeted to users who need a computer for office tasks and light gaming. The price could be seen as a negative point; however, you have to consider that this case comes with a power supply, reducing the total cost of the computer.

Antec ISK 110 VESA Review

Sabios del Pc
5 November 2012
