Works as intended

Anonymous, Newegg

  • Summary: For the price, I honestly think this was a great purchase and I would totally recommend it.
  • Pros: It fits everything I needed to put in there and then some. Has plenty of places where I can mount fans.
  • Cons: The clips inside that held the drive covers were easy to break, but it was my fault for not reading the manual. I had thought they were clips that could snap back like ram clips or something.

ANTEC FInally gets it right

Karl A., Newegg

  • Summary: FInally Air Filters that are easy to access and clean...I miss the Antec Darkfleet series of cases they had the right idea then where you could remove the air filters from the front of the case with out having to open up the case and unscrew the drive cages like you do with the Antec 902 cases
  • Pros: Tool-less drive bays - I love them no one wants to screw and unscrew stuff I hated having to take off both side panels to screw and unscrew drives. Grommet-lined cable routing holes - Awsome Cable Management options though the rubber grommets are a bit of a pain since they come loose easily but t...
  • Cons: Front panel connection (USB, Power SW ect) wires could be a little longer, Cable management rubber grommets are thin and flimsy they come loose as soon as you start putting a cable through them. These are both not deal breakers and not enough of an issue to take off any eggs.

Amazing

Frederick B., Newegg
3 January 2014
  • Summary: Its hard to realize the difference that a well built case makes on thermals and overall noise reduction, until you upgrade from a standard, run-of-the-mill gaming mid-tower to this beast; everything is just... better, cooler and quieter. not to mention, this case looks sexy as all.
  • Pros: -Incredibly easy to route cables and install hardware -A lot of room for extras -Looks Good. Nothing weird or tacky -Solid Construction -Leaves room to upgrade to XL-ATX if needed. -top fan LED can be turned off (was clashing with my Red cold cathodes)
  • Cons: -Heavy (might be a pro if you thought someone was going to steal your computer, and break their back trying to lift it) -a couple design choices (see other thoughts)

Perfect Case Size

Roger B., Newegg
4 September 2013
  • Summary: I have over 600cfm of fans mounted in this case and because of my need for cleanliness inside the case, I had to run negative pressure to use the filters. I also had to tape over many grills in order to properly make use of the filters in the case, if I hadn't the air would have been drawn in from...
  • Pros: Amazing build quality, well designed, clean understated look, perfect size for any build. This case has a nice clean black finish inside and out, no gaps in paint. The intakes are many, and well placed. The filters are a nice idea... The space inside the case is immense, it wont pass for a server...
  • Cons: My only complaint comes from my obsession with cleanliness. There are too many unfiltered grills to run a negative pressure case while still using the filters.

Great case.

  • Summary: Cheap fans are okay for the sides, but mine can't handle the filter being in the front. The mesh alone works perfectly fine.
  • Pros: Such a sleek case, lots of room; perfect for wire management. Went with Antec for the second time, don't regret it in the least.
  • Cons: .

Excellent

Paul O., Newegg
3 August 2013
  • Summary: First, I love this case. I have never owned a case of such high quality. I put 2 120mm green led cougars in the front, 1 green CM sickleflow 120mm inside, 1 120mm ebmPapst running at 7v for motherboard back cooling (way too loud/powerful at 12v).
  • Pros: Packaged really well Plenty of room to work Motherboard back cooling option <3 Looks great Dust filters High build quality Dedicated ssd slots Big backplate cutout Punched out side panel for hiding cables Outstanding cable management options Included fans are quiet to me Great airflow capabilitie...
  • Cons: No eSATA port Tool-less 5.25" bay doesn't hold my card reader very well, I got screws into one side but cannot get screws into the other side

Antec 1100 Re - Review

Kyle K., Newegg
2 August 2013
  • Pros: I made a review before stating how great this case is, but it was humming on my desk when all 4 legs were down. As i suspected my hard drive was going, and this was the culprit.
  • Cons: I cant think of any, recently added the Kuhler 620 with a push pull configuration and it keeps my fx 8350 considerably colder than my coolermaster hyper 212.
