Antec Dark Fleet DF-85 ATX Full Tower Gaming Computer Case
23 September 2012
Summary: There is no side filter. How could it be?. My system value over $2500 and I have to use the food plasic to cover the side hole. Customer service is good and they sent me two LGA 2011 brackets for my 2 Kuhler620.
Summary: Very bad product. Unfortunately a few "enthusiasts" will sit there and attack anybody who gives a low rating. Just avoid this product. It's cheap but it is not good. Poorly designed. Cheaply constructed with low quality plastics. Go for P193 instead. Now their V3 also has two SSD slots.
Summary: Pros: looks cool, front IO panel, cpu cut out, spacious, cable management. Cons: the manual omits a lot of details. I spent hours trying to figure out how to install a CD ROM. How much more resource does it take to just document a little more details? Also there is ZERO documentation about how to install a side fan, although this one is not that hard to figure out. Also, with this case, I can no longer just slide the CD ROM into the case.
Summary: Hopefully after dealing with Antec (and their massive 6 hours a day their support runs) I'll be able to post an addendum. Anyway, this thing arrived today and I ported all my hardware into it. I fired it up and things looked good. No forgotten cables, all my devices were as expected. So, I bundle all my cables and finish the assembly. Once it's on a couple minutes I smell burning plastic.
