  • Summary: The Akasa Omega is an interesting refresh of the series of cases. The soft plastic door has been replaced by an aluminum one and the added air vents open the possiblilty for some extreme water cooling without the need to mod anything. The case can still be described as wide, big & black. It looks quite indestructible. Even with these looks, the case is quite light, thanks to the Aluminum used.

  • Cons: Indents in front door do not cover all external bays, Door opens from right to left only, Top air vent will be blocked by optical drive

  • Excerpt: Die taiwanesische Firma Akasa offeriert seit 1997 hochwertige Produkte im Bereich Kühlung und Gehäuse und hat sein Portfolio inzwischen auch auf das Netzteil Segment ausgedehnt. Aber bleiben wir beim Thema Gehäuse, denn auch wenn es nicht so public ist, Akasa hat durchaus Erfahrungen wenn es um hochwertige Gehäuse geht, man denke beispielsweise nur an das vorzügliche Mirage-62 Alu-Gehäuse aus dem Jahre 2006.
