Akasa Eclipse-62 Case Review

PC Modding Malaysia
2 August 2005
  • Conclusion: Being the first aluminium case by Akasa, the Eclipse-62 is a miracle case. Being entirely made out of aluminium, it is not only lightweight but also offers excellent cooling for your hardware. Overclockers and tweakers will find this case very user friendly as this case is totally accessible and almost everything can be disassembled. The Eclipse-62 is also getting my credits for its large interior space and the ability to support up to 10 hard drives with ease.
  • Pros: User friendly design, Easy access to hardware (removable top panel), Excellent cooling performance, Lightweight aluminium, Spacious, Removable mirror finish motherboard tray, Optional side panel window avaiable
  • Cons: Plastic front panel, No case fans included

Akasa Eclipse 62

21 June 2011
  • Excerpt: Today I will be looking at the Akasa Eclipse-62 and the side panel available for it. I mentioned this case a while ago in a news item and couldn’t wait to get my hands on one, Why?? Well for those in the know this case was originally designed as a server case but became so popular it was almost obsolete. This is where Akasa stepped in and have made it main stream available as well as a nice windowed panel for it.
