Good server case

judith B., Newegg
9 June 2011
  • Summary: This case is made thinking on vertical air-flow since the front of the case is suppose to be fill up with mount racks/ hard drives. Sit a big fan at the bottom sucking air in, add another exhaust fan(s) at the top and expect 25-29C in a Quad Core 955 Black Edition 3.2GHz CPU with stock fan at slow...
  • Pros: Case is well constructed. Not fancy at all yet full of space in a smaller package. I'm running a VMWare Server off of this case. Currently 8 Mount Racks in the 5.25" slots to hold 13 Hard Drives. Case feels solid after you put it together. I personally love the PSU at the bottom of the case. It a...
  • Cons: The drive mounts tool-less design is not that bad but I wouldn't use it to hold my devices in place. Screw holes don't align perfectly with my mount racks. I think it is the case because I have used these mount racks in several cases currently in production with no issues. Needless to say they wo...

Great Case for the Price

Nicholas C., Newegg
5 February 2011
  • Summary: I would definitely purchase again.
  • Pros: I was expecting this case to be poorly made and very flimsy given the price of it and it turned out to be much nicer than expected. It has nice ventilation on the top and bottom of the case. The PSU is mounted at the bottom and its fan blows right out of the bottom of the case through the vents. ...
  • Cons: I had some trouble taking the side panel off and removing one of the PCI brackets in the back. The wires for the power/reset buttons and the front USB/Audio connections will get in the way of some of your devices mounted in the 5.25" bays.

Nice Case

Christopher F., Newegg
6 December 2010
  • Pros: Reasonably well designed case. The cable management inside is nice. The case seems sturdy. I don't care for the plastic feet, but they are easily removed.
  • Cons: I purchased the case to insert 3 x Supermicro Black 3X5.25 to 5X3.5IN SATA Hot Swap enclosures. The cabling from the power button (etc) goes through the 5.25" bay openings, meaning you'll have to sacrifice one of the 9 bays for this cabling. I have not yet found a way to re-route the cable, but i...

Nice Cheap Case

Matthew C., Newegg
5 December 2010
  • Summary: Good choice if you are building a new PC like I was but dont want to spend a lot on a case, but also dont want a cheap case you know you are going to hate. For the money I dont think you can find a better case in its price range. I would buy again.
  • Pros: Case metal is thick so its not flimsy. Inside is finished and has room to mount a bunch of fans as well as being able to mount a 120mm fan to each HDD if you want. With MoBo & CPU installed has a lot of room for a really big CPU cooler. Comes with a lot of screws for installing all your new parts.
  • Cons: The ability to mount the PSU on the bottom is nice but this does mean that any wires will need to be a bit longer to reach any plug's. Could be a problem if your PSU has short cables. The tool'less HDD mounting things are a little flimsy and allow the HDD to wiggle some. But you dont have to use ...

decent

Anonymous, Newegg
12 July 2010
  • Summary: I put two 14cm fans on the side panel, thats were most of my airflow is. i also have two 12cm in front. Replaced the case feet with some off an older case. and hot glued the 5.25 drive covers down.
  • Pros: -cheap -great airflow -not to flashy
  • Cons: -5.25 drive covers fall off easy -case feet are plastic and are wobbly at times on some surfaces. -tool-free drive mounts allowed cd drive to move a little - cable management mounts are ok. (zip ties work better)

It works!

Lazar Der Gregorian, Amazon
16 March 2014
  • Summary: It works but I think it's somewhat flimsy. Plenty of room inside, quite easy to work with. The single fan is not particularly loud, depending on what your needs are. The front USB ports feel a bit loose to me but so far haven't caused any real problems.

  • Summary: It was my first build and I settled on this case. I've now built my system and everything was ok to assemble inside. Theres loads of space and I got a AMD Radeon HD 7750 in with a AsRock Motherboard, 1TB hard drive, DVD drive, 8GB Ram 500w Power Supply so cant complain there.

OK, but the product I received had many major problems.

Alex Ashton, Amazon
24 November 2013
  • Summary: Simply put: Pro's - First desktop case I ever had. Looks nice and looks functional, plenty of space and the feet are a good idea. Con's - When I got it out of the box (which was fine) the front of the Tower looked to of been kneed in. Two of the front slots had been bent.

Aerocool Case

Unknown, Amazon
2 November 2012
  • Summary: Bought this product and was delivered earlier today. My first impressions aren't very good. The case is very light but because it's not very strong The internal drive bays soon get eaten up when you put the hard drives on the plastic carriers and if you wish to put 3 hard drives in with hard drive...
