Summary: Disappointed with device and Thermaltake support. I emailed the support team concerning device not recognizing any of the hard drives that I placed into the duet station. I also tried various OS i.e Linux, MAC, Windows xp, 7, 2008 server. Just trying to eliminate OS.
Summary: This is a nice sata hard drive docking station for copying hard drives. It takes the 3.5" & 2.5" sizes. Being a dual docking station, you can insert 2 hard drives for copying. You can also insert one & use it for backing up data or just as a spare drive.
Summary: This is a very convenient adapter for accessing drives without opening your pc case. I use it for as a cheap backup solution. Instead of buying enclosed hard drive, I just buy slightly cheaper internal ones and use them as backup drives.

Summary: I tried using this to clone drives, and it is more of a hit and miss when it actually worked. After only a few uses trying to clone a drive, and being unsuccessful, I noticed an odor, similar to a burnt capacitor coming out each time I tried to use it again.
Pros: Works sometimes...
Cons: Works sometimes... then stops working all together...
Summary: I had my doubts when I bought this, but decided to give it a try. Boy am I glad I did. As soon as I received it, I hooked it up and put a 3TB and a 2TB drive in it. My computer picked them both up instantly over eSATA.
Summary: Bought one 4 years ago to use with a 1TB and 250 GB. Worked great, then I bought a 2TB and used it no problem, then one of the slots burned out, wont recognize any drive. Then I started having problems with the remaining slot recognizing my 2TB, some days it would work and some days I'd have to...
