Summary: When I first installed this, one of the sharp metal corners caught the inside of one of my Molex connectors, causing it to melt and almost fry my computer. That also didn't help these units from being sent back ASAP. Newegg won't let you say c_r_a_p in a post heading, lol...
Pros: Cheap - Looked like it would be a good buy as I have other Thermaltake products that work great.
Cons: Very flimsy - does not eject drive very easily, I had to reach in the case behind the drive to push the drive out, impossible to do if you have another one stacked on top (like I did) or a DVD drive above it. I recommend looking up Sata Backplanes on newegg and go with one of those. Much sturdier...
Summary: If you want to use this with a 3ware card you have to take it apart and pop the 4 caps off the data lines for the eSATA port. Aside from that it was a pain to install the drives. It's junk, don't buy it.
Cons: Bad design, lots of work to install a drive. Doesn't work with 3ware cards.
Summary: I thought Thermaltake made quality products, well I was wrong on this one. First, it is not all Alum or metal. The HD tray is flimsy plastic. Then, the LED was not secured to its holer and and came out.
