  • Summary: Although a previous reviewer said it fit fine in their tool-less drive bay, I found it did not in mine (an Acer Aspire desktop). The sides are considerably shorter in height than the 3.5" drive bay guide and so, the side opposite the securing plastic holder is floppy. I removed the sliding tool-less plastic holder and just installed the adapter directly into the chassis with the supplied screws. That's fine, but defeats the purpose of a tool-less drive bay.
  • Pros: Inexpensive. Comes with all the screws you'll need to install two SSDs and into the chassis of the computer.
  • Cons: Poor fit in a tool-less drive bay.

  • Summary: This bracket solved a problem with mounting a 2.5" drive in an Antec NSK2480 case. This case holds 3.5" drives by the outer screw locations, which means standard 2.5" SSD mounting plates were too short. The finish on this bracket is nice. It has some rolled edges and Thermaltake logo stamped into the metal. It holds 2 drives, which is smart. This is the best SSD bracket design I have seen. Good product.
  • Pros: size, configuration, holds 2 drive
  • Cons: none

  • Summary: This is a pretty standard hard drive adapter. It did the trick, and I'm happy with it. I like how there is a lot of space around the hard drive in this adapter for air flow.
  • Pros: Light, Lots of screw options
  • Cons: Price

  • Summary: The Antec Eleven Hundred case I purchased has a spot for two 2.5" drives but when I tried installing the Sandisk SSD, it was tight so I decided not to force it in and bought this adapter. The adapter works well with the tool less rail mount design of the case. The black finish of the adapter blends well with the black interior finish of the case. The adapter feels solid in construction and material.
  • Pros: Solid construction. Works well in an Antec Eleven Hundred case.
  • Cons: None.

  • Summary: I had to mount some SSDs in a Dell case which has a tray system so I needed a full-length 2.5/3.5" adapter which this provided. Be sure to note the mounting holes on your SSD, if they are on the side and/or bottom. The bottom holes on this adapter wouldn't work for my standard size 2.5" SSD, I guess they are for another size drive. Luckily I had side holes that worked well.
  • Pros: good price, provides flexible mounting options, full-length for a 3.5" bay, lots of screws
  • Cons: none

  • Excerpt: low-cost it, operates, came with all of the screws that i needed holds challenging drives way to close, i am not utilizing for ssd i have to old laptop hard drives, and they do get noticeably warmer than the other 3.five inch drive that i have. because the drives are so close really hard to connect the sata cables didnt fit in my hafs toolless drive bay so i utilised the integrated screws, since i payed 6 bucks for it and i ony have cheap old drives in it dont care it...
