Excerpt: My studio is set up to record voice-overs and mix sterio audio. As such, my needs are simple- I need a sound card that easily interfaces with my multitrack editing program, which is easy to install and straight forward to use. In addition, it's nice to have one small enough to be mobile. I've taken my US-122 to plenty of on-sight sessions, using it with a lap top. It works great. I've also packed it and taken it on vacation, again, flawless performance.
Pros: Consistent, Easy To Use, Excellent Sound, Versatile
Excerpt: Originally, just bought it to enable me use a high quality microphone to record rehearsals directly into my computer. The audio quality is very high and it is very easy to monitor the levels to make sure the mix will work and not feed back. Additionally, I also do a lot of entering parts in software like Finale and GarageBand with MIDI, and this device is very easy to set up and works great.
Pros: Consistent, Excellent Sound, Professional Features, Versatile
Excerpt: The Tascam us122 MK II is a low cost but great performing USB audio interface. USB means portable with the install consisting of loading the drivers on your computer and plugging in a USB cable from the computer to the US122 MK II. The driver install can be a liitle tricky sometimes (I have installed lots of these for my friends) but once done the unit is very easy to use.
Pros: Consistent, Easy To Use, Excellent Sound, Professional Features, Versatile
Excerpt: I'm using this interface with my iMac running Logic Express on Leopard OS. It has very simple instructions to load the drivers, then plug it in and it works perfectly! Operates exactly as advertised. I can easily record one or two tracks at a time. I have powered monitors plugged into the line outs, and also use the headphones for recording acoustic stuff. Build quality is good. This is the only interface I've owned.
Pros: Consistent, Easy To Use, Excellent Sound, Functionality, Price, Professional Features, Versatile
Excerpt: This is worth every penny. The knobs are the only thing that feel a little flimsy, but they are low-profile, so they probably won't break in my backpack. Audio-wise, it adds a bit of hiss at high-gain, but I haven't benchmarked it against my UA-5. It sounds like it's entirely pre-amp limited in terms of noise, and there are no weird buzzes or hums even though it is USB powered. Downside: It only works with windows and Mac Upside: Worth it.
Pros: Easy To Use, Professional Features, Versatile
Excerpt: Soy Voiceover y la interface me proporciona la oportunidad de grabar en cualquier lugar al solo conectarla a mi laptop, brindando una excelente entrada de audio al software de grabación. Si lo recomendaría a un amigo.
