Summary: When the AudioBox 22VSL hit my desk my first thought was "This is a nice entry level recording interface". Boy, did I grossly under estimate this box. The first thing about the AudioBox I fell in love with is the fact this unit is bus-powered.
Summary: Length:: 1:03 Mins I love this unit and have a bunch of video demos of it on YouTube, please come check out my channel. I review mics and give audio samples too! The channel is called Garageband And Beyond. PLease come check it out!
Summary: I needed an audio interface for recording some voice-overs on some training videos. After reading many reviews on several sites, the two main complaints about the audiobox were problems with 64 bit drivers and preamps that were too hot, causing clipping at the lowest gain settings.

Summary: For the buyers that have problems with the installation here is an option solution, go to presonus technical support and download the driver you need for Windows Vista or 7 for 32 bit or 64 bit, extremely recommended for the audiobox to work correctly, is that you always have to plug in the usb...
Summary: Let me start by saying I am a recording virgin, but competent with a computer. I installed this on a low power vista system with all of the stupid power hog features of vista turned off. It was a bear to install, with annoying registration requirements and such.
Summary: This is the best external sound card I have ever used to record. I have used quite a few over the years and presonus has all the competition beat hands down. This unit is extremely quite, it reproduces exactly what it captures without adding any color as some cheaper units tend to taint your sound.
Summary: All I have used this product for is to record my voice with a condenser mic. Works perfectly fine for me... although i am using an Apple computer! my computer recognizes the device with no problems. i have nothing negative to say about this product.
Summary: As a beginner Guitarist I wanted to listen to myself playing guitar, and add-on a chords track. I did not want to add a firewire card for this purpose So I looked for a USB based recording device. The AudioBox 2x2 USB is great, I use the bundled "Cubase 4 LE" software. No installation hiccups.
