Summary: I bought this product mostly to replace the crappy sound card and headphone amp in my laptop. That being said, the first time I played something through it I thought it was still my crappy laptop sound card. The headphone amp is very underpowered although I didn't expect it to be killer because it is bus powered. Still it was worse than I expected. Next I thought maybe it was an impedance problem because some pro headphones have very high impedance. Nope.
Drivers incompatible with Windows 7 -- terrible purchase

Summary: I just bought the Audiobox USB and after wrestling with installation for five hours, I'm done with it and plan on returning it first thing tomorrow. After repeatedly installing, reinstalling, uninstalling, etc., I've determined that this equipment just isn't compatible with a 64-bit Windows 7 system. At least for me, it manages to only install the driver for playback and not the one for recording.
Summary: I have had the same problem another reviewer mentioned, that Windows keeps asking me to install the driver every time I turn my computer on. And then I have to restart the computer or the Audiobox won't play sound. Oh, and fairly often, it decides to make everything you record or play through it sound extremely glitchy. And I have Windows XP, which is the operating system that this was designed for. Stay far away from this piece of crap.
Summary: When the first time I got this item from Amazon, the disk of the driver is broken. Amazon responded and helped me to replace the item promptly. This part I need to give Amazon a lot of credit. After installed the driver on my Windows XP, the device works. However, every time when my notebook is powered up or the AudioBox is connected, the Windows keeps asking me to install the driver.
