Firewire 800 Card -LaCie

Merrill M. Hessel, Amazon
20 November 2010
  • Summary: Card installed easily. My problem was I have a Windows 7 64 bit Operating System. The box had no drivers and card didn't install automatically. I went to the LaCie website and was able to find the appropriate drivers (Vista works). Now I have much faster excellent video transfer.

Richard C. Drew, Amazon
14 December 2009
  • Summary: The card works great and has outlived a computer - it's now in a new one. Used it with XP, Vista and Windows 7. Does the job, works without problems, never had any difficulties! Would buy it again!

Too big for many 32-bit PCI slots

Volker, Amazon
11 July 2009
  • Summary: The product description reads "This versatile card has a 64bits PCI-X form factor for best performance as well as being compatible with a 32bits PCI slot." Check the space in your computer first. My new HP desktop PC has a 32bits PCI slot, but the card is too big to fit in there.
