Summary: 8-22-2013 Rev. A. I have a HP-8000-Elite CMT, that has all the requirements (PCIe2.0, x4 (in a x16 slot), it works but at slow SATA1 speeds. USB-3.0 is faster than my other card that's in a PCIe1.2 x1 Slot. Called ASUS support, refused to help me in any way. I wont buy any ASUS products in the future... I plant to re try using it after my computer expert updates the BIOS. Maybe he can figure out its problems???
Summary: bought this and have compatibility issues. i hv msi p6n diamond board and it's not compatible (only get a black screen n can't even get to the bios). it will ONLY boot if nothing is connected to the s6 connectors on the card or have the sata controller on the mobo disabled. also, it won't boot if u have ANYTHING connected to the mobo USB slots. i now only use the usb3 feature but not the s6. asus support is useless so don't even bother.
Summary: I have purchased many ASUS products and swore by the name. I installed the card in a new dell xps 9100 ,because i added 2 more HDD and 1 optical drive. The first issue i started having was it wouldn't recognize? Then installed driver reboot and it would show, but after i shut down few more times the driver disappears as does my drives connected to the sata card? I have installed many sata cards over the years and never had issues like this.
Summary: Tried using with msi p6n-sli platinum and was incompatible would cause my computer not to boot would just sit at post screen, have read many reviews on this and alot of people are having the same compatibility issues with many different motherboards.
