Summary: Installed this in a 17 month old Cooler Master HAF 932 Advanced case to breathe some aesthetic life into it. It did not disappoint! Looks MUCH better in person then the pics. Very crisp detailed screen, easy to touch buttons, even with big hands/fingers. I didn't really need this as my Asus Maximus V Formula motherboard has an already superb built in fan controller. Bought it mainly for the aesthetics.
Pros: Touchscreen Visually Pleasing Not too bright Installs like a dream
Summary: I would look at this as a first time buy for a fan controller because it is cool and very unique looking, but its functionality is limited to that of a very basic unit. Still a good product and fitted what i needed.
Pros: Screen is visible from most angles Very quick and easy to change fan speeds Great color quality
Cons: Temperature monitoring is kind of broken. At a flat angle (Looking straight at it from its height) it has weird coloration.
Summary: Got this as a gift for my boyfriends first build. This is his review. This is a nice piece of bling if you are looking to spice up your build. Keeps tabs on four different items that you manually tape a thermometer tab to. Does the job and gives you a nice read out for the temp on each item. If any individual item reaches the temp you select and set the unit will alarm and warn you. Easy to install, program and use.
Pros: Attractive and functional touch screen Programmable alarm temp for each thermometer
Summary: I didn't purchase this from newegg, but this is an awesome fan controller, very easy to install. I don't understand why everyone is saying you can't set the alarm temperature.. If you press the unlock button, then hold the current temperature read out it will start blinking and you set it the same as raising or decreasing fan speeds. It would be great if it would automatically adjust according to temperature.
Pros: Awesome LCD Screen Easy to Install
Cons: Temperature Sensors are a tad off No Auto control for fans (at least not that I could figure out) No mute for beeping
Summary: I wish people would stop complaining about the accuracy of the thermal sensors. They work PERFECT! You have to take the time to securely tape the sensors to a good location. Don't expect the VGA and CPU sensors to give true CPU and VGA temps. You don't want to pinch the sensor between your heat sink and processor as you may mess up the contact between your heat sink and processor.
Pros: -Looks great! -Fan Controls and touchscreen work well -Great fit and finish -A very nice way to knock down the noise levels when not gaming. -Wires were long enough to reach everything in a full tower.
Cons: I wish all the fan connections were 4 pin not 3. Some of my fans are 4 pin, and i had to get adpaters. -1 egg
Pros: Cool product. Easy to install and works well as far as the fan controllers go.
Cons: The product was new in box and some of the "prongs" were bent when I received the item and the tape that is given to place the sensors really does not work well. Also the temps are not as accurate as I thought they would be. They are off by 3-5 degrees...might be my placement of the sensors though
Summary: This fan controller looks cool. It woll not push fans to max rpms even though they require less voltage than the fan controller says it will put out. I get about half speed on all fans i have tried with this product. i have tried 6 different types of fans and finally gave up and plugged them into the motherboard. Left one fan hooked up to controller because it just looks cool 600 to 700 rpms is all i get off that fan.
Summary: Now that my aerocool unit practically does nothing at all on my computer would i remove it???..... NO WAY! It is worth keeping in there just for the looks. Nobody except you million readers need to know... Fun and great looking unit but that is about it.
Pros: This unit simply looks great. Very easy to install and turns my HAF 912 case into a good looking weapon. I have never seen a PC look so good. It runs very cool and the display is very bright and viewed perfectly at all angles except at 0' to the screen. Who lays down to look at fan speeds anyway?
Cons: Looks are deceiving on my setup... I had initially hooked all of my fans up to the unit and controlled them all from it. In all honesty changing fan rpm's on this unit is a real pain. I wound up disconnecting all my fans from the unit except the 200mm intake and exhaust which run at 600-700rpm constantly silently anyway. I connected all my fans to the motherboard and simply adjust fan speeds on my motherboard tuner utility. The temp senders are way off. I confirmed ov...
Pros: it works.after reading reviews i was sceptical because of horror stories but im glad i purchased it. this thing is nice and well built.the screen is clear and bright.extra parts it comes with is cool cause who doesnt like extra parts.
Cons: the instruction manual is a lil cheesy,it takes up 2 bays so make sure you have room in your case.the lcd screen is hard to see at certain angles.
