Summary: I would look at this as a first time buy for a fan controller because it is cool and very unique looking, but its functionality is limited to that of a very basic unit. Still a good product and fitted what i needed.
Summary: don't buy this controller, it not worth half what their charging.gonna pull it out of my case , hook up a psu and 4 fans 3 pin type and see if I can figure out what the heck this thing needs to make all 4 fans respond to rpm +/- adjustments , unlock and lock feature doesn't seem to be the problem it flashes in unlock but nothing happens except on 1 channel. truly regret buying this. my fault , nobody elses.
Pros: it didn't cost more than I already paid.
Cons: 1 out of 4 fans respond barely to rpm changes. all 4 fans are 3 pin type and lighted. instructions are the worst ,seen caveman wall paintings that made more sense!
Summary: Looks cool.Still works, for the most part.Honestly after having this for over a year now,i haven't used it much. After i noticed my heat sensors weren't working,I started using the temp sensor software for my mobo.I am now considering using that for a future build to monitor temps and getting a fan control with simple dials.
Pros: Screen still looks great.Fan controls work. All buttons and features work.
Cons: Heat sensor strips are dead and have been so for a good 6 months.trying to find replacements if possible.
Summary: Some reviews say this isn't accurate, but for me, it's been within 3 to 5 degrees Celsius of my hardware temperature readouts. I'm not sure if I'm lucky, or they're setting it up incorrectly, or maybe some combination thereof, but let's be honest, you aren't getting this because you want to monitor temps inside your PC. You're getting this because it's sexy case candy. At that, it definitely excels.
Pros: Pretty accurate temp reads/ gets within 3 to 5 degrees usually
Cons: Beeping can get annoying on a hot summer day when you're playing an intense game
Summary: I wish people would stop complaining about the accuracy of the thermal sensors. They work PERFECT! You have to take the time to securely tape the sensors to a good location. Don't expect the VGA and CPU sensors to give true CPU and VGA temps. You don't want to pinch the sensor between your heat sink and processor as you may mess up the contact between your heat sink and processor.
Pros: -Looks great!
Cons: I wish all the fan connections were 4 pin not 3. Some of my fans are 4 pin, and i had to get adpaters. -1 egg
Summary: Just got the Raven RV-03 case and installed this into the top 2 slots. easy to install...but has a limitied viewing angle to see. I have the case up on a printer cart and it makes it near impossible to read the screen unless I stand up. So I guess this will keep me more exercised than normal eh?!?!
Pros: Looks sweet.. nice to be able to turn off screen.. also not too bright if room lights are off.
Cons: only controls 4 fans...temp sensors need to be more accurate.... adjustable illumination would be sweet.. adjustable tilt/angles would be neat as well. My 11yr old son wont stop staring at it and trying to touch it!!
Summary: I only ordered this for the bling. Looks fantastic in my Level 10 GT case. Friends are impressed by the looks. While not all that accurate what they don't know won't hurt. If you want it for the great looks get it.
