Summary: I've been living with this for the last month or so, making a pot every day. I have 2 major complaints. Basically, just like all the other reviews note, the handle is only attached to the pot by that metal band at the top. The glass feels very flimsy. I'm sure it will break one day and when it does I hope it doesn't spill hot coffee on my private parts. The other major problem I have with this unit is something I just noticed yesterday.
Summary: was attracted to good looking coffeemaker and purchased because of Zojorushi good reputation. This product is made very flimsy and overpriced. Coffee filter and lid combination makes it awkward to pour.
Summary: I think I must have expected too much based on lots of 4 star + reviews, but this seems like a very ordinary machine with a couple serious flaws. I like the cone filter and the 5 cup size, but the machine has no auto shutoff (at this price!) and the carafe drips all over unless you take out the filter. Bottom line - I think for 20-25$ this would be a good buy. For 60$ I would not recommend it.
Summary: Well, after looking at this for over a year now, I really wanted to like it. It just doesn't get hot enough to brew properly. I don't know the brew temp, but once it finishes brewing a thermometer shows 135 degrees.
Summary: I bought it because I was looking for something of a little higher quality than what you could find in a Walmart or Kmart. I got it because of the built in filter and the stainless steel casing. Problem is, it was platic not stainless steel. I went back and re-read the company's description in case it really said stainless steel "color", but they listed it as having a stainless steel exterior. Because of that, I gave it one of my rare neutral ratings on ebay.
