Summary: My original Zojirushi coffee maker is about 10 years old and still working great. I put it in our vacation home several years ago and replaced it with an expensive grind and brew coffee maker. The expensive replacement was okay, but not great.
Summary: wonderful product. I like not having to use paper filters. saves money and the environment. Also the metal carafe keeps the coffee warm for quite a while without overcooking it. Also I love not having a glass pot because I am clumsy and forever breaking them. The product is perfect for me.
well designed coffee maker makes great coffee with fewer grounds
5 March 2014
Summary: PROS: My wife and I really like this coffee pot. We are using fewer grounds per brewing and enjoying the flavor more than we did with our last few coffee makers. We can keep a pot most of the day without getting that burnt taste we got from makers w/o an insulated carafe that.
Excerpt: Coffee should never be made in a pot that sits on a hot plate. This coffee pot brews coffee into a thermal carafe that really keeps the coffee hot. I wake up about an hour and a half before my husband and his coffee is still piping hot from when I brewed it in the morning.
Summary: I have owned this Zojirushi for almost a decade and it still brews excellent coffee. There have been times, over the past few years, when I shopped around for a new coffee maker. Why? Not sure. Perhaps I felt I needed to “update” this appliance.
Summary: Makes great coffee, fast easy to use, thermal carafe keeps coffee warm for several hours. Plastic base and water reservoir appear to be light. Have to see how they hold up to day in day out use over time. Overall a good product at a reasonable price.
Summary: This machine is exactly what everyone reviewed it as. It works great and keeps the coffee warm for hours, the only downside is that it uses a smaller filter than what we're used to and the top is harder to screw off. Otherwise it's worth every penny
